The Sutton Foster appreciation thread

Well, I searched and I couldn't find one of these yet. I couldn't imagine why there wouldn't be one, so if there is just quietly let this slip all the way down... If not then let this be the first!

So many people have appreciation threads, why not Sutton Foster? The girl is a goddess. Her performances are the most incredible I have ever seen. I am so impressed by her stage presence and raw talent. And her voice... WOW! Anyone else as impressed with her as I am?

re: The Sutton Foster appreciation thread

I actually made one a few months ago.

I had the pleasure of meeting her twice and she is amazingly nice and really really really really really talented. She deserves a 10000000000 page appreciation thread.

re: The Sutton Foster appreciation thread

Sutton Foster...Ah, I adore her. She is my absolute favorite actress. You know what, she is my absolute favorite performer. The woman amazes me. Not only is she a joy to watch, but she is always so funny too. Her characters are inspiring, and side splittingly funny. She is easily identified with, and she makes herself a great role model. Not only that, but she makes herself accessible to her fans. She will spend hours in the freezing cold, signing autographs and taking photos. And letters. Now, I have never written her a letter, but I know for a fact that she responds to almost all of them. She is graceful, and just absolutely adorable to boot. I'll never forget the night she won her Tony. She was magnificent. Most importantly, she is supportive. She understands how blessed she is to be doing what she is. And she encourages young people to be themselves, no matter how awkward or normal they are, and to do what they love. To figure out who they are, and what their strengths are, and run with them. I love Sutton because she is a strong woman. Because she can go to Paris on vacation. And mostly, because she is actually brave enough to make a difference in this world. Sutton Foster has blessed my life in so many ways. I love her.

Amen Chrysanthemum. And I know how to spell that people of Snoopy the Musical, which Sutton (in a way) introduced me too. She was amazing both times I met her, even when my sister and mom embarrassed me. I wrote a 6 page essay on her niceness.

re: The Sutton Foster appreciation thread

Sutton Foster is my favorite performer on Broadway right now. I was so awe-struck after seeing her in Little Women I wrote her a letter, something I never brought myself to do before. Yes, I am a dork. But it's worth it for Sutton! She's is amazing on so many levels and by far one of the best role models out there. I wish there were more performers out there like her, though no one could be like Sutton. re: The Sutton Foster appreciation thread She is where it's at.

Nightlaughs, that's funny because I was thinking about writing her a letter too, after I saw it, which I have never done before. I was just completely blown away!

Nothing precious, plain to see, don't make a fuss over me. Not loud, not soft, but somewhere inbetween. Say sorry, just let it be the word you mean.

So I guess I will answer my question first. My favorite song that she has sung is Astonishing. I think it fits her perfectly and her singing it gives me chills. Listen to it at: littlewomenonbroadway.com (then click on production)
