Yeah, right now my goal is to get at least two jobs lined up from now until august (one weekdays one nights and weekend).
THankfully I can get the entire $22000/year as a student loan...but I need to start saving money so I will be able to pay it off. It is a HUGE number. Times three. And we all know that prices for college are going to keep going up. I will probably leave undergrad with $75000 of debt and then have to go to grad school.
I just pray my parents change their minds and help out at least a little. Even if it is just what they would pay where they wanted me to go it would be a HUGE help.
I learned in class today that Angel is not a transvestite.
That's what my parents are doing for my sister. They're paying for what it would be to go to a state school, and then she has to pay for the rest.
Hm yeah. I'll be going to a nice, cheap SUNY school.

*hug* Caitie, they might come around if they see how much this really means to you. In the meantime, good luck.
ETA- my parents will pay state-school prices too. Anything else is my problem, though they don't want me to graduate with much, if any debt (which will seriously limit my options).

I'd love to NOT go to a state school, but it's probably where I'll end up.

<-will also end up at State School.
Banality:
Some people can have all the luck, love and money in the world, but it's still not enough for them. Why is that?
I'm so sick of being jealous of her. It's making me literally ill sometimes.
Some people...
Don't limit yourself Mandi, from whaI have seen of you, you are really smart and could probably get a LOT of money at a private school.
The tuition to one of the private schools that I'd want to go to is almost as much as my house? Yeah...no. Bleh.
Nia, I don't know what to tell you. Those people are idiots and I tend to avoid them like the plague. Also, your avatar is really hot.

Extrordinarily hot, Mandi. I love Jakey G.
Sadly, physical distance can't fix this one. I can't escape my own head, which is where she continues to torment me.
I am officially done with my first year of college classes.

Tell me about it, Mandi. It's amazing what some colleges cost.... I don't know how rich people must have to be to afford the upper-rank private schools.
I have a month left of class, but congratulations to Fantabulous.
Well some can afford it. The rest of us just got a grant for $30,000 so that it only cost $10000/year.
I love sushi! just had some hand-rolled for my lunchbreak.
I got the finals schedule, finally; my first exam is the third to last day OF exams, so I can still have a few more days to breathe.
Yay for having some time to breathe!
See this is why I would not want to go to OSU. They are on a quarters schedule so I would have to go through the hell of finals week 3 times instead of just two. Not to mention that I would have two months to learn everything for classes
I know people who are on trimesters and quarters who like it just fine; everything is structured differently, so you can't really compare.

Ah, OSU. That's where I'll end up after I get those financial aid letters saying that my family can pay for 40k colleges that we can't actually afford...
The good thing about quarters is that if you hate the class, you don't have to be there as long. And you get to take a greater variety of classes.
But then again, the mascot is a Buckeye. I mean, if the school wants everyone who attends to proudly call themselves after nuts, it can't be good.
Hallelujah for the last day of classes. I have a final on Thursday and then the rest are next week, so I can relax for a bit.
I wore a pair of strappy sandals because I had to dress up for a presentation today, and my feet are absolutely killing me. I swear those things were a lot more comfortable when I tried them on at the shoe store.

Why must Warner Bros. release a special edition DVD of one of my favorite movies? I don't want two DVDs, but...
What movie?

*patpat* I hate it when they do that without warning you before you buy the other version, Siamese. Sorry.
BG, have I ever told you how much I love your signature? And I'm sorry about your feet. I'll be wearing strappy sandals all night in the near future and I'm quite afraid of permanent damage.

Streetcar Named Desire.
Superficial: Mmm, Marlon Brando.
Thanks, nia. I just bought it a year ago, too. The same thing happened with Chicago.
