I'm accumulating this pile of clothes that I just keep moving from my bed to my desk chair, because I don't feel like actually putting them away.

I couldn't find this thread earlier.

I had a dream last night (who am I kidding, nightmare) where I had left the door to my room unlocked and someone had stolen my laptop while I was sleeping. In my dream, I went around telling people, literally sobbing as I explained what had happened. Honestly, I was so upset that it was like a family member had died. I woke up at 2am and my laptop was sitting on my desk unharmed (and the door was locked- I checked) but I think I'm more worried about how extreme my reaction was to losing my laptop.

That's a tad bit worrisome. a lifetime of Banality

I had like three consecutive dreams about funerals. I don't understand. Then, I woke up at 6:55 (only 4.5 hours after I went to bed) wide awake, ready to get up and study. I knew I couldn't function on so little sleep, so I went back to sleep for a few hours. When my alarm went off, I could. not. get. up. I stayed in bed for like an extra hour and a half. Very, very strange.

I just discovered that my pajama pants were on backwards, AGAIN. What's wrong with me? I guess I was more tired than I thought when I finally changed to go to sleep last night.

I think this was my mind's way of revealing that I have an unhealthy attachment to an electronic.

I had slept in shorts and a t-shirt, but pulled on a pair of pajama pants to go out. My shirt and my pajamas don't match and I'm actually considering getting up to change one of them because it bothers me that much.

My parents have just informed me that they're coming to visit in 5 minutes.

ETA -- or not, they were just dropping something off.

Yesterday was pretty much the best day I could have asked for - found a couple of great bargains at the D&G sample sale, had lunch at my favorite restaurant, got a box of Godiva chocolates as a going-away present from my roommate, and went to one of the most exciting baseball games I've ever seen (Mets beat the Braves in 14 innings in one hell of an emotional rollercoaster of a game).

My mother is coming to see me for a "girls' night out" tonight. I get the feeling she has ulterior motives (mainly, getting me to start packing my stuff).

Is it sad that a Rent reference in Devil Wears Prada made me really happy?

My brother took the SAT again today. I'm really hoping it went well for him.

I have no idea when my brother is taking the SAT.

I just got a lot of studying in, but there's so much more. It's this time of the year when I kick myself for not keeping on top of my reading throughout the semester.

But right now, I think I want my wonton soup.

Did you know that there's a difference between DVD-R discs and DVD+R discs? Yeah, I didn't either, and ended up spending $40 more than I needed to.

I still don't understand the difference. I just know there is one. Once, I called tech support asking about that, and the guy didn't sound too sure, so I called back twice more, got different people AND different answers. All three times.

I don't understand the difference, either. However, I learned that you can't copy DVD-Rs to DVD+Rs after I had already bought a huge pack of DVD+Rs. *grumbles*

Mandi, here's a page explaining the differences, but I still don't get it:

UGH, Lexi, I did the same thing. I just spent like $15 on DVD+Rs, and I can't really use them, but I didn't save the reciept so I doubt they'll let me exchange. Grrr.
