Traditionally, the sixth anniversary is candy or iron.

I have to come up with a shopping list to give to my mother tomorrow, but I'm not hungry, so I can't think of what I would want to eat.

My parents called and woke me at 9. I planned to sleep until at least 10, and to stay in bed for a long while after that, simply because I can and want to. I suppose I can go back to sleep later, if it'll make me somewhat happy. My allergies are terrible, so I may very well get drugged up and fall asleep mid-day. Come to think of it, that might be nice. I didn't sleep well at all in my 6.5 hours; I kept waking up, only to replay the terrible night I had last night in my head each time.

My skin is clearing up, though, so that's a minor triumph.

That's great, dancingthrulife!

I just went food shopping with my parents. They both see this incessant need to repeat themselves in reminding me of things that are ridiculously obvious. And they can't just tell me once, they have to tell my five times. My mother is turning into a carbon copy of my grandmother, and to boot, they both saw fit to talk for about half an hour total about my mother's stitches in her eye; I begged them not to because it made me really squeamish, but they thought that was funny.

When I came home, I went to turn on two of my lamps, and three lightbulbs blew. I don't know if I have any replacements.

I'm not sure what to do today. I think I want to watch Brokeback Mountain, but every time I open the DVD case and consider watching it, I end up just putting it back on the shelf. I think the emotional purgation will be fairly therapeutic, but it also makes me think of things I don't want to think about -- though, I'll think about them anyway, so I guess I might as well just watch it. Maybe it'll alleviate some of my frustration, in a roundabout way.

Hi, DG. Thank you!

I actually would love to do that, but I can't go outside because that's even worse for my allergies. When the weather is better, that's one of the first things on my list. random banality

I constantly feel short of breath. This used to happen to me really often when I was little; it's a strange feeling. I think I should just sit in one place for most of the day -- that one place being in front of my air conditioner.

I replaced my lightbulbs.

I really need to get myself moving.

My little brother was positively amazed that I was going to do the exact same show again tonight. (Tonight's our last show. I'm not so happy about that anymore.)

If I could go outside, I'd go to Blockbuster.

My neck hurts because I'm sitting funny, but I am too lazy to switch positions. Rock. Bottom.

I think I'm gonna watch Brokeback in a little bit. And if I can't take it, I can just turn it off.

My brother's prom is tonight. I feel old.

(sorry it took so long ot answer)

Em- My brother's 5. I told him I had to do the show again today, and he went "What show?" I told him it was still Guys & Dolls, and he goes "You're doing the same show AGAIN?" Then he kept telling my dad how I was a general.
