I REALLY wish I could tell you I was kidding. But for whatever reason, before I saw whatever the piece of mail was (my mom used to get really pumped about college mail) when my mom said "you got mail from UConn today!" I thought she meant "Yukon," like the place in Alaska.

I used to be a Met fan. By default. Now, I just don't care.

AHAHAHA YUKON.

Have you ever heard of the game, Yukon Trail? It was like the Oregon Trail game, but Canadian style. Instead of dying from a broken leg, you died because your country turned on you.

I had such an Oregon Trail addiction.

When I was in 5th grade, there was a national competition, and my class had an Oregon Trail team. It was so cool.

When I hear "Met," I think museum! Banal is boringly brilliant

Do you ever have that feeling in your tummy that you're hungry, but you're not sure if it's just psychological? Like, you keep thinking about food so you're not sure if you're actually hungry or just the thought of food triggers something in you?

What is that feeling? Is there someone I can talk to about this?

I very often feel my stomach grumble, but psychologically do not want food. I feel that right now. But I would think that what you're describing is also feasible. Thinking about food makes you hungry! Have you ever been food shopping, not been hungry, and then gotten hungry when you see all the food?

I used to play Oregon Trail for hours. When it got boring, I would try to see how fast I could kill them all.

I've got some cookie dough in the fridge, and that's all I can think about! But am I actually hungry?

A friend of mine just called -- I know she's in the city today, because her away message says so. I haven't seen her in ages, and every time we talk, I'm like "call me when you come to the city, I miss you!" I feel really guilty, but I didn't answer her call because I feel terrible telling her I have way too much work to do and that I can't see her. I also just don't really feel like holding a phone conversation with anyone.

I should eat.

I hate when people come out of the woodworks. If I haven't tried to contact you in over a year, catch a hint.

Well, we talk fairly often, but she lives kind of far away, which is why we don't see each other a lot. I just feel bad for not even having the balls to answer the phone.
