My dad loves his Viao. I hate my HP; don't ever get one. I had to send the damn thing to the factory like three times before they actually fixed its problem.
Apparently, soon, Macs are going to be able to run on a Windows interface. That seems kind of backwards to me, but... I guess it could be enticing. I got used to the Mac interface really quickly, though.
My dad had an HP. It was the cutest little thing, but he hated it.
yaay, my roommate woke up. *turns lights on*

Poll for the audience:
Which is better, seeing a show or going to a day of writing workshops?
What show?
(Workshops, I think.)
Banal: I really want to go back to sleep. I couldn't fall asleep til 3 something last night.

It's... a hypothetical situation. Sort of.
Meh.
*paces in virtual corner*
What if bww actually had corners and rooms and such? I wonder what it would look like if it were a physical place. I think it'd have lavender paint and red trim, just like the site.
If BWW were *actually* a room full of people, I'd have run away long, long ago, and hidden in some nook around the corner.
If it were a place, I think it would probably look like some kind of weird maze. I have no idea why.
And it would have lots of colors, since there's that new customization thing, where you can change how it looks. That thing confuses me to no end.
ETA -- I wonder if I can succeed in writing this paper without actually reading The Beggar's Opera.

Customization? I know there's that "My BWW" thing, but you can change the colors?
A maze makes sense... I think I'd get stuck in it.
Did you read the SparkNotes of Beggar's Opera?
I can kind of see the maze thing. There would have to be different rooms at different points in the maze. Each major thread would have its own room.
I overslept by an hour. I really could have used that hour.
No, but I found a book that outlines the plot and the characters in about a third of the space the play takes up. I have a really, really tough time with Old English, so it would take me about five hours to read that play. The paper is on the history as impacted BY it, though, so I think I can get away with it.
I think you can change the colors.
When I visited England, one of the palaces outside of London had this big, life-sized maze/garden thing. I got so, so SO lost in it, and I thought I was never going to see my parents every again. Like, I honestly thought I needed to be rescued.

If this was a real place, would it, like, transcend space? That might be fun!
Okay, I'm slightly freaking out. And very close to crying. I woke up this morning (er, afternoon... about 10 minutes ago!) and my ears are still ringing from that club last night. What if it never goes away?! I know that's possible. Oh, help. Help, help, help.
*pet* I promise it will go away! There's nothing you can really do, though, except wait it out. It's okay, that's normal! *pet*

Yikes, Allie. Go see Health Services as soon as you can, but it might not be permanent. You've only been home a few hours, right? Maybe it takes a day sometimes?
(Still taking advice on previously posted banal poll.)
I want to go to England. I might be the only person I know who hasn't been or isn't going to go to Europe in the near future.

Do they hurt, Allie?

There's absolutely no way I'm going out again tonight and subjecting my ears to that. I know stuff that loud is not good for you, but I did it anyway. We were right up front near the speakers, too.
I'm going to buy ear plugs, even though they're severely uncool-looking.
Interestingly enough, it did not inhibit my sleeping. I fell asleep within minutes of going to bed! Thanks for the reassurance... Myabe I'll wait it out today. It doesn't really hurt, but it feels funny.
Do you feel like there's presssure? That's normal, too. If it doesn't go away in a day, then I would probably start to worry, but don't get too freaked out yet. (Who am I kidding? I've had so many ear problems that the slightest thing possibly wrong makes me cry.)

Would your hair cover earplugs?
Yeah, it's probably best if you avoid loud stuff for a day or two. And it's a good sign if they don't hurt, right?

I can feel pressure, yeah. And when I turned on my microwave just now, it sounded reaaally strange, heh.
My hair would probably cover earplugs, but I tuck it behind my ears all the time, because it gets in the way!
Nia's poll: I would choose the show, but probably feel guilty about not doing the writing workshop.
Won't it be dark? So... you wouldn't be able to see them!

Jake Gyllenhaal has grown a Brokebackesque mustache.
*sobs*
*horrified gasp*
He had a full beard recently, and I was very upset.
Let's pretend he did that for a role, and he doesn't plan to keep it and/or think it looks good.
Um, wow, even in still photo, you can see some wrist action.
Jakey, outta the closet.... please.

While I'm at it, I think I'm going to click the heels of my Docs together three times and hope I can go home to Kansas.

My plan was to wake up early and work on my paper. Just got up. Grrr.
And: Why, Jake, WHY???????
