No, I've decided not to... I've hit a couple of rough patches, and I'm stopping before I get myself into even more school-related debt. It's just not where I want to be at the moment. So I'm moving back home for the time being, where there are minimal living expenses! Hopefully by the end of the summer (or maybe by Christmastime?), I'll be back on my feet a bit. I'd love to move back to the city, maybe with some friends, and work here until I figure out what I want to do.

If college isn't your thing, that's ok, but don't give it up just because of financial issues. If you still want a degree, you can look into a local school that you could attend while living at home or a community college. Do they have those in Canada?
Allie, I think this is for the best. I know it'll be tough not living in the city, but you know, time is a great healer. I'm proud...and waiting for a PM

Yeah, Nova Scotia has a great community college. I really think that I do need to get some things under control, financially, before I even think about it, though.
I also need to get my license! Holy crap, I'm turning 20 in less than two weeks, and I don't even have my beginner's license anymore. My 18 year old sister has had her full license for over a year!!
I have no homework or projects to do this weekend. I feel empty.
Mandi, you can have some of mine.
I slept for 14 hours last night. Oops.
Now because I was lazy yesterday, I have to go out in the rain to go to the ATM because the one in my building is broken. Bleh.
Mine is too, but that's nothing new.

Mine's a bit messy, too, I must admit. But it's a happy mess! Craft supplies! Yesterday, I made a card for my friend who's graduating from university. It was cute, and she loved it. I haven't cleaned up because I may make another card for someone else.
So the people in my group showed up; to a different location! oy.

UGH! I've definitely done that before. It sucks! Did you get it all sorted out, though? Whatever you had to do?
Yeah, we pretty much got it done.

Glad to hear it!
So I've done nothing today. Well, I ate leftover stirfry for lunch, and responded to a PM, but that's IT. As much as I love to clean, I loathe packing. I find that odd. I don't mind helping people pack, but packing up all of my own stuff, all by myself. Not so much fun!
I hate packing, too. I'm sorry.
My stomach is in KNOTS. A combination of excitement and nerves and indecision and stress. ugh.

Yeah, I hear you on that one! Very different reasons, of course, but knots are not fun.
I feel like I should listen to some Adam Pascal... perhaps "The Ringing in My Ear"... Heehee, aren't I clever?
Okay, I'm actually going to leave this time. I can at least drag some boxes out of the closet!

I hope it all goes well and keep us posted on stuff, Allie.
Banality:
I was admiring this gorgeous vintage silver compact in an antique shop today and it was seventy-five dollars, but the owner said he'd charge me fifty because I was pretty. So the question is:
Am I flattered because he knocked off twenty-five dollars or should I be insulted because I'm twenty-five bucks pretty? I mean, that's pretty cheap for a hooker, right?
He probably (a) wants to sell it, and (b) felt bad if you really wanted it and 'cause you're pretty. Be flattered. I think. heh.
*belated hug for Allie* I know you'll get things figured out. *loves*
Banal: this weather is awful. It's cold again! *hybernates*

I know he was just trying to sell it, I meant the being offended stuff as a joke.
Was he weird or just being friendly? :)
I'm so glad the students I'm hosting are cooler than last year's.
Weird banality: I'm looking at some pictures from a former friend from high school's photo album (we're fallen out of touch), and these are all pictures of the people I spent he majority of my time with in high school -- only one of whom I still speak to.
.... it kind of makes me jealous that they're all still so close.

MY LEFT EAR JUST POPPED AND IT IS NO LONGER RINGING!! The right one is still going, but YAY!
