I was just on Raul's website and saw that photo of him in the wedding dress from Taboo. Wow. Wowee wow wow. Why do I find men in makeup and dressed so hot?

Undi, read back on the last page. Banality is closer to Godliness. It was on stage!

He's one of those men who could wear makeup every day and not look like a total freakshow. It looks excellent on him.

Well, I kinda am hating LJ right now. At least one member in particular who says BWW is bullsh*t, and is full of little kids. I fought back, of course. I'm waiting to hear what he/she says back.

And here's their reply...

"2. I'm not leaping anywhere. I've been reading BWW for about three years now, and maybe 20% of the stuff I read there is true. That's where my hesitance comes from. If the thing about Norbert is true, so be it. But my opinion of BWW stays. No offense, but I'm not taking a 12-year old's judgment of any website, let alone a theatre one."

The 12 year old bit made me feel bad. Maybe I just should've shut up about how old I was. :-X

I just ran four miles. (Possibly five not sure on the distances.) The first two or so were a little rough but then I got into my rhythm about halfway through and the last half of the run felt great!

I didn't get the job offer for a position that would've kickstarted my career in provincial politics. There were three positions and apparently I was in the "top four". Well, if that still equates to no job, I could be in the bottom four for all it's worth. Why bother padding and coddling me instead of just letting me get off the goddamn phone?

I'm in tears.

I went hiking in the middle of nowhere today. It was cold and muddy, but I got lovely pictures of the scenery (river rapids, mountain cave) and silly pictures with my two best friends. Banality is closer to Godliness.

The mountains here are one of the (few) things that I'll miss when I move to a city.

"All I ask of you is one thing: please don't be cynical. I hate cynicism -- it's my least favorite quality and it doesn't lead anywhere. Nobody in life gets exactly what they thought they were going to get. But if you work really hard and you're kind, amazing things will happen." Conan O'Brien

HALLELUJAH.

Being a complete moron, I didn't realize Movable Type had plugins other than the ones offered within its user interface. While the latest version of the software is very good at separating real comments from junk, I still had to go through all the junk comments and ban their IPs one by one- huge hassle, especially because I have hundreds of open entries. All I wanted was a CAPTCHA but I had no idea how to make one. *hugs the plugin* Now I don't have to program!

Plum, my head hurts after reading that. Banality is closer to Godliness.

Instead of going to bed like I should have hours ago, I stayed online and ate popcorn. Then I didn't want to go to sleep because of how unhealthy that is. But now I'm exhausted and I'm not sure if it's been long enough since I ate for me to go to sleep without feeling to guilty.

Okay, to simplify:

I have a weblog. This weblog uses Movable Type software. The problem is I keep getting junk comments, and even though the software is good about putting them in a junk folder, they annoy the crap out of me. So I found a plugin that'll make me a CAPTCHA for commenting. You know, like on Telecharge? It shows you a picture of a squiggly word and you have to type it in to get through.

CAPTCHA- Completely Automated Public Turing test to tell Computers and Humans Apart.

(Catchy, ain't it? And Alan Turing was a computer science pioneer, BTW, who ended up killing himself after being convicted of gross indecency for having a gay relationship. Which was ****ing ironic after all he did to help his native England with codebreaking during WWII.)

ETA- My newly arrived CD has a broken jewel case. Damn you, Barnes and Noble!
