On my first day of classes I got assigned 4 academic papers and 1 book's worth of reading. (All to be done in 3 days or less, by the way.)

Everytime I see ads for that I think,"this may be the most disgusting show ever" then I remember that I always think that and feel a general malaise.
Then I forget about it, see the ad again and the process repeats.
At least I have never seen the show.

I used to hope the drunks would flunk out and go away. They did but, of course, they didn't.

They went away! *knocks on wood* Sure, there was no hot water left in the shower and I can't feel my toes anymore, but there's no more drunks!

Now, back to the work. (I think I forgot to mention the part where I have a paper due Friday. How I can possibly have a paper assigned when I haven't had class yet is a bit beyond me, but what the hey.)

I'm the worst at cleaning my room. I convince myself that every piece of paper, wrapper and receipt will SOMEDAY come in useful so I've got a stack of crumpled crap. I can only sleep on 1/3 of my Queen bed.

The family of one of the kids I work with, Danny, gave me my birthday present early today. They got me a 30GB iPod. I am having WAY too much fun putting all my music in it. On the back they had "Danny Loves Amber" lasered into it. awwwwww.

I don't think I understand how or where you get the videos for it though. Hmmm

A guy at my college won the ATCF Irene Ryan competition so he'll be heading to the Kennedy Center in April. I did a show with him two years ago at a community theatre. Don't know him that well, but he's a nice and extremely talented guy so I am happy for him.

My avatar is a reminder to myself. I need lots of reminders...

I took my health final today. Which means I'm FINALLY getting out of that class. I've only been in it for one term, but it seems like forever.
