I agree. I hope I get through it.

I have a voice competition next Saturday though and I'm sick as of right now. I better get better otherwise I will sound like SH*T.

ok, here's a banal vent for you:

Friend and I went to Palo Alto to see "Swing Time" and "Song of Thin Man" on the big screen...Here's what I got to see and hear instead:

Slow, meticulous unwrapping of a large licorice package. Take the cellophane off the damn package, bitch, before I help you do it!

Group of Tweenies running up and down the balcony stairs every ten minutes. Why are they there in the first place? Where are they going?

A woman behind me, obviously parched and suffering from the effects of having to sit in the same place for over 30 minutes, having to tilt her drink cup to get a piece of ice and chew on it. Every 15 seconds. I almost got up and offered her my drink, in hopes of alleviating her loud and obvious suffering.

The lovely melodic ringing of cell phones and the conversations following.... Yes honey, I am watching Fred and Ginger right now. Oh you should see it, I'm enjoying it so much...hold on...there's a mob of angry people surrounding me....I think I should hang up now...

Crazy lady with some kind of "undercover food" that had to be taken out of a paper bag, munched on, and placed back in paper bag. Over and over again. Seriously, why can't people survive without food for two hours?

Several people in the audience who really should be at some type of sanatorium for the "hacking up a lung" cough they had.

Some guy REALLY enjoying his popcorn. His large bucket of popcorn. One kernel at a time. Close your damn mouth, pig.

A middle-aged man a couple of seats away...snoring. Yes. Asleep. How he managed to sleep through the tap dancing, audience laughter, cell phone ringing, gunshots from Thin Man, rude noises in the theater, and the organ playing in between movies was a feat to be admired.

This is what keeps me from going to movies more often.

I thank you for your time.

I'm hopelessly in love with a boy I only get to see a few times a year.

Neither do I Em, neither do I.

And thank you, justme. That made me laugh. Sorry it was so awful!

I went back to bed for a bit. I still managed to oversleep. Maybe I should just resort to sleeping ALL the time.

It's suddenly hit me how much work I have to do between now and the end of the semester. Maybe in some ways, that's a good thing.

Is there a job where I can get paid to sleep? Preferably between 4 and 12?

Yes, but if I slept all the time, I wouldn't be awake to BE tired, or to think about stuff. That would be kinda nice.

AM or PM, Calvin?

Em, that's a state called death... You're WAY too young and smart for that state.... All in due time...

AM, of course. I want casino worker hours. But none of the work.

And Em, that's one of the reasons Socrates said he didn't fear death.

Ooh. Me to. Either of those things!

Which reminds me that I should probably eat before my psych exam.

Well, I would't wanna be dead. Just asleep. I like dreams.

I'm wearing a bracelet that I haven't taken off in days. I don't plan to take it off. Except to shower. I don't usually do that. I feel weird.
