The right speaker in my headphones stopped working today.
And I got an allergy shot and the nurse didn't give me a band-aid, so I got blood all over my coat.
My best friend is no longer speaking to me.
I got allergy shots today -- there was a new nurse at health services, and everyone does them differently, but they bled a TON today. One of my arms hurts quite a bit.
My mom told me that if my hand gets infected I could get a fever.
Double post.
Sorry, I've been at school all day, and really don't feel like looking back, what happened to your hand?
The nurse keeps talking to me, which I hate. It makes it harder for me to concentrate on closing my eyes really tight. And this lady bruises me.
I burned it in the oven over the weekend, but I had it checked while I was at health services today, because it looked kind of ugly, and it was hurting. First degree burn, possibly infected, will definitely scar.
The nurse who gave me my shots today took so long. She was asking me where the needles go in my arm, and what to do. That makes me feel secure!
Sounds fun Em. Now you know, hot things hurt.
Yeah one of the nurses told me they have to put it lower in the arm in case something happens and I need a turniquette (sp?), while she was giving me the needle.
Another one told me that if she knew I was on antibiotics she wouldn't have given me the shot. Today she told me that she hates giving me the needles because she can tell how scared I am, why doesn't she just stop talking? I'd be a lot calmer.
I didn't so much think it wouldn't hurt if I touched it as... thought I wasn't gonna touch it. I just missed.
The person who gave me my shot today just put it in a weird place. When they ask, I tell them whatever makes them most comfortable, but I didn't mean stick it in my muscle.
They usually just stick me. No one's ever asked me. That might be the difference between where we get it done. I get it done through my school nurse. And I also know there's a difference in health care between US and Canada, ours is free, so the doctor's pretty much tell us what we need to know, and they don't ask questions. Like we don't request drugs or anything.
I get it done at health services at school, but I should switch to a doctor whose office is nearer to school, because it's a hassle to go home to get new serum. I think it's just because these are like... all-purpose school nurses, you know? Like, at my allergist's office at home, those nurses give allergy shots all day long, and they're GOOD at it. Here, they're sort of confused about how to do it.
It seems like that's all the nurses here do is give shots.
Here, they say "you're sick, go see a doctor."
There are no doctors to see in this city. They're all appointment only. So the school clinic is the only walk-in. So they've got a couple doctors and a nurse.
I fell asleep in English today. Mid-sentence, as I was doing my work. My teacher didn't even bother to wake me up for a while, because I was basically done. After a while, she yelled.
You can see nurses at school by walk-in, but if it's anything more than routine, or like, a bandaid, they tell you to make an appointment to see a doctor at the school, and come back whenever that is.
There's no guarantee for walk-ins, but it's really the only place to go. I was lucky the one time I went, it was right after lunch so I got in right away.
Coach for what, Marlene?
My stomach feels like it's in my throat.
Veronica Mars is love. Not even kidding.
We're FINALLY getting somewhere with the bus crash mystery! And Weevil comes back next week! And Logan needs to stop messin' around with that sophomore and go back to Veronica!
Seriously, kids. I need some LoVe in my life.
Unfortunately. It hasn't been a good day for the left side of my body. Or for my brain.
Damn this cold! It's taking the Calvin world tour. First in my throat, then my nose, then my chest, now my head. I shudder to think where it's going next.
My feet are bruised. Owie.
Calvin... hopefully it will go AWAY next!

addy, what happened to your gorgeous size 5 feet?
Somebody took almost all of the strawberries in our office cafe this morning and I had to supplement with grapes. Sure, grapes are delicious, but not nearly as much as strawberries. Bastards.
