No.

My relative is in town this week, and the first thing he said when he saw me was, [this Greek accent] "Whaaat, you gain weight or something? What's going on?"

I have to go to the MoMA this afternoon, and my roommate said she would go with me. We're supposed to leave in half an hour. She keeps dozing off, literally in bed with her computer in her lap. I keep telling her to wake up, but she won't. Now she's put her computer away and curled up for what she usually turns into a four hour nap. Ugh.

Oh! She just woke up for... three seconds. She said we could leave soon, and then fell asleep again mid-sentence.

I feel bad waking her up. She was literally like "we'll leave soon" as she shot up. So I asked if she wanted me to wake her at a certain time, and she went "um, I... *sleep*"

I could go alone, but that's no fun. banal thread

Give the girl coffee. Or a continual supply of sugar, whatever works. :)

I dropped a plate full of scrambled eggs at breakfast and it spilled down the front of my pants and all over my feet. Ew.

I'm drinking tea with honey. Because pressing the "Boost Heat" button on my wall only seems to make my room go from "freezing" to "frigid".

It was warm before! No, really. It's only gotten really autumnish in the past 2 weeks or so.

I went to opening night of this play last night and found out that there was a reception after the show. I stayed for about 5 minutes, then looked at everyone who was showing up. They were all uber-cool-looking and very arty and I was all alone. I then decided to run away because why would these uber-cool people ever want to talk to ME. I regretted my decision the moment I stepped out of the building, but I'm so shy! But now I am pissed that I missed this opportunity.

I have to excuse myself to go kick myself in the ass. Excuse me.

Okay, I've pressed the little "Boost Heat" button 3 times now and I'm still frickin' freezing.

Feel free to imagine me saying that in my best Dr. Evil voice. With a hairless cat on my lap.

Really? Because I'm almost halfway through it and the main character is mostly pissing me off. It's not that she's unhappy where she is; she'd be unhappy anywhere. She could be married to a loving prince and she'd still be disappointed to find out he farts like everyone else.

I'm enrolled in a class next semester and a seminar the semester after that with the same professor, and I just found out the reading lists overlap heavily. Obviously, we're going to be going a lot deeper in the seminar, but WTF? And I can't exactly switch around because I need both of them to fulfill a requirement and *%*$#*&!!! *kicks things*

On the bright side, the reading list for that seminar next year includes a graphic novel, and how cool is that?
