I'm going to make myself a grilled cheese sandwich. Damn, I'm hungry.
I need to clean my fish bowl.

Mozzarella. Mmm.
Now I'm looking up whether it's okay to bring tea into the States...

Mozzarella Fish?
I'm confused.
It is. I've brought loose tea back into the States from London and Paris.... In bags and canisters.
Betta. His name is Han.

Not that he's banal...

We just had this huge Thanksgiving potluck at work and I want to take a looooooong nap now. I'm also anxious about something. Again. But can't figure out what. I think I need to take those antidepressants on a more regular basis.
Hmmm....I collecting cardboard boxes from work so that I can empty the rest of my kitchen cabinets....so that I can scrub them down with heavy duty industrial cleaner tomorrow night and sand them on Saturday.
Then....my partner will eventually apply three coats of polyurethane.
Gawd! Can that sound more banal!?
Ramen or pizza pockets, folks? That's the food question of the day. I need a late afternoon lunch.

I think I'd rather eat dirt than either of those, Tiff.
I'm so hungry, dirt doesn't sound that bad.
The chili from the deli downstairs has been disappointing twice in a row.

I just bought stamps online. But it's not that banal because one book has the Muppets and the other has Garbo. I'm stupidly excited about these stamps.
But even so, we love you because you had the brains to bring it here instead of starting seven new threads about it.

Well, if they had been RENT stamps, that'd be a whole different story.
I respect the fact that we all can acknowledge how banal we are, and that we're not worthy enough to start a new thread on these topics.
Dirt is looking pretty darn good right now. I don't think pizza pockets or ramen really fall into any food group except perhaps "synthetic and predominantly made of used car parts".
On the bright side, I've got perogies, sausage and cabbage rolls for dinner tonight. Just need to find something to sustain myself until then.
Now perogies are sweet, that is new thread material.
When I find my penguin stamps I'll start a thread, but call it "Rent: Do we still have stamps?"
mmm... dirt with car parts
I believe, much to my pleasure, that there was a perogies thread just a couple of weeks ago. Oh...boiled slightly, then pan-fried, with bacon bits, sauteed onions, and sour creme. I'm salivating, honestly.
What are you eating today?

I just noticed that penguin just said he loves me. Sure, there was a "we" in there, but I'll take it in the royal sense of the word. Yay! I am loved! By a penguin!
And, Tiff, sweetness, you're killing me. Cabbage? Sausage? Blech. But I like your avatar, so I forgive your food choices.
*edit* I've never had a perogie. From your post, I'm to assume they're full of delicious goodness?
I normally detest cabbage, but stuffed with ground beef and rice, topped with creamy tomato sauce, how can it go wrong??
As for sausage - yeah, it's pretty hit or miss. I adore farmer's sausage with salsa though. I just have an issue when I'm eating any form of ground beef where you're chewing and thinking, "Oops, I just bit into a bit of bone there...oh...why is that sort of chewy?" Have you ever looked closely at a burger patty and been able to eat it happily afterwards? Ick.
Perogies ARE fantastic. Think of sort of a ravioli, with potato and/or cheese stuffed inside, but instead of being served with a sauce, it's lightly fried or boiled and served with onions and sour cream.
Once again, I'm salivating. And leaning towards a pizza pocket. I'm about to eat my arm at this point.
(On Saturday, I'm back on Atkins. )
