My boss actually realized that I can't walk 90+ blocks to work if the subways aren't running and said I can stay home tomorrow if there's a strike.

I hate my professor. He lost my paper (after I went to class SICK to turn it in!) and now he's making me send it to him, but a huge part of the assignemnt was the handwritten parts that I can't just reprint, so I'm going to lose about 10 points out of 60 because of him.
