Posted: 5/28/09 at 11:32amDo you think there will be comments about marriage equality at the Tonys? And if so, do you think that's appropriate? After all, with NPH hosting and Elton up for an award, the possibility is there. Just wondering what folks think.

Posted: 5/28/09 at 11:38amI would be surprised if NPH makes a comment. In all of the interviews I have seen him in, he really doesn't discuss his being gay. But I expect someone will say something during an acceptance speech.

Posted: 5/28/09 at 11:40amThe Tony Awards are usually filled with speeches where the recipients thank their partner. The Oscars people thank their agents, crew, managers.... and the Grammy people thank Jesus. I'm sure someone will mention the gay marriage issue!
