Victoria Clark was fantastic in Piazza...both times I saw it! Dividing Day and Fable were both brilliant. When I saw it last weekend, she was so nice at the stage door as well. She signed my playbill and my CD cover and was taking pictures with everyone who asked. I am so glad she won.
A true Goddess of the theatre. I'm so so happy she won. No one deserved it more than she. Amazing!
"It's a great feeling of power to be naked in front of people. We're happy to watch actual incredible graphic violence and gore, but as soon as somebody's naked it seems like the public goes a bit bananas about the whole thing."
I have to 'give it up' for Ms Clark too! What a wonderful talent and a real joy to see in any role! Love her.

'He really wasn't good as Fieyro. Is it just me or does he sort of come across as a pimp? Just...the hand motions I've seen him do and the attitude..not that Taye is a pimp.' - SallyBrown on Taye Diggs as Fiyero
oh, Etoile, she'd be a great Dolly, but Tony or not, it won't happen. She's a great actress but her name's not going to drag people from Oregon to NYC to see her. UNFORTUNATE. I actually believe she might have played Dolly recently, in fact. For that matter, I think she'd make a pretty good Mame. She's a very versatile actress.
Those on the Main Board who say that Kelli O'Hara's performance was better than Victoria's must not have seen the same show I did. O'Hara is wonderful, but Victoria's was the (musical) performance of the year. I hope it leads to many more roles.
