There were a total of 217 arrests made yesterday in connection with all nationwide events.
Headband--you are still the same F*CKing LIAR and FAKE NEWS SPREADER you were before the election.
The 217 number does NOT refer to any arrests made during the Women's March, which occurred on Saturday. It refers to the number of people arrested in Washington on INAUGURATION DAY (Friday), protesting the inauguration, not women who gathered on SATURDAY but anarchists on FRIDAY.
Stop using BroadwayWorld as a place to leave your fake-news turds. Or, at the very least, post links with your bullSH*T, like a normal person.
Your post was clearly designed to insult the millions of women who gathered in peace on SATURDAY by linking them ERRONEOUSLY with professional anarchist agitators.
ABC NEWS: At Least 217 Arrested, Limo Torched Amid Trump Inauguration Day Protests in Washington
It's time to take that headband off as I think it has finally cut off all blood flow to the brain. Another adding to the block list. I'm enjoying this cleanse.
I didn't think Los Angeles would come through. I'm originally from Boston, but I am proud Los Angeles came through... What an amazing day!!
I've been seeing suggestions on Twitter for the next organized march to be on Tax Day (April 15th) because Trump won't release his tax returns. I say go for it. I will gladly march for that too.

Several million people - enough to fill up a big city - marched on Saturday. What point are you trying to make by singling out one person who did something terrible?
With that number of participants, it seems close to a statistical certainty to me that there would be a few bad actors. Would you expect for a day to go by in, say, Los Angeles without one crime being committed? The fact that a tiny number of people among millions of marchers did bad things does not negate the fact that this was a peaceful protest, despite the scare quotes put around that word in the video you shared.
I must say I am not happy that PROLIFE women were told to go home. But the event was a BEAUTIFUL come to Jesus moment.
The reason there was no violence as opposed to the Inauguration violence is easy to explain. Run by and for WOMEN, not MEN. Testicles were greatly outnumbered.
Women can disagree without throwing rocks or burning down their own homes!!

Great day for democracy! I had dozens across the country in Washington, Chicago, Boston, LA and many more! The stories of the bus rides, packed trains, random meetings of friends, etc. are excellent! Congrats to all that marched! (I was at a bed and breakfast for the weekend!)

It's literally a march for women's reproductive rights.

I do not believe it was, although the vast majority of marchers were clearly pro-choice. It's complicated, but there are pro-life women who agree with much of the feminist agenda - equal pay, access to contraception and healthcare, addressing harassment,e etc. If these groups could work together to accomplish their common goals, they would be unstoppable.

No. No it wasn't. There are marches for women's reproductive rights but not the one on Saturday that is being discussed here.

"Thank you MadBrian. Mar, I just do not understand it. Its the same Bernie vs Hillary argument. Do they agree on everything? No they do not. But they do agree on most. And if they all came together, we would not be in the mess we are now. If only we could have instead of ostracizing over one issue, you are absolutely right we would rule the world!
You're just trolling again, just like the Headband, trying to make something glorious look bad.
You are adding nothing to the conversation, just insults, that is definition of Troll. Go back in your bubble
Oooh, that's a pretty one, but your responses are so predictable.
YOU'RE the troll.
And you're the puppet. The Russian puppet.
