Posted: 10/12/04 at 4:28pmThat I do. Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban is my favorite of the series. The next one is rumored to come out next year (there is already a title).

Posted: 10/12/04 at 4:28pmOkay, I'll bite. I adore Harry Potter. I cannot wait for the next book. ANyone have any predictions? All I want is for some hooking up between Harry/Ginny and Hermione/Ron. That'll make me a happy girl. I know they are childrens books, so I'm not asking for graphic sex scenes - but I would like them to get together! Wow ... I'm way too into this ....

Posted: 10/12/04 at 4:30pmApparently La Rowling has confirmed that another character bites the dust in the upcoming Half Blood Prince. She won't say who but I have my fingers crossed it's Hermione.

I want to marry Remus Lupin. If Jo kills him... ::sob::
And as far as couples shipping goes... Hermione/Ron and Harry/Luna. Yey Harry Potter! It's up there with air.
And yes, we're allowed to call her Jo, says her website :)

Posted: 10/12/04 at 4:43pmMore than likely the three leads (Harry, Ron, and Hermoine) will not die or at least not until the last book. The people who are going to die are those close to the kids and will cause the reader to go "NOOOOO!" like I did in the last book. My prediction is that one of the Weasley's will die (not Ron). JK Rowling said that someone is going to die in the rest of her books.

Posted: 10/12/04 at 4:46pmthere are only two more books to come though I think book 7 will probably end in a bloodbath.

Chances are... Dumbledore has to go, we all know Harry will have to face the final showdown alone.
Who wants to see Remus kick Peter's tail in a big showdown? I do, I do!

Posted: 10/12/04 at 4:51pmI really hope she doesn't either. Does anyone need Harry Potter and the Walking Stick of Doom?
#13re: The official Harry Potter apreciation thread

Posted: 10/12/04 at 4:58pmWasn't King Arthur killed by someone named Lucius...? Hope that isn't foreshadowing, Mr. Weasley is great.
#16re: The official Harry Potter apreciation thread
Posted: 10/12/04 at 4:59pmI could do that, or what is more fun is pre ordering it and tyhen waiting in line with the rest of the people who had to have it at midnight!

Mominator, I am one of those people that were there at midnight to get my copy because usually they are all gone by the afternoon of the first day of release. Yes, I am dork and I am proud.

Posted: 10/12/04 at 5:09pmActually, I give it to my finacee first who reads the book in like two hours and then I get it. It usually takes me a week to read them (now that they are almost 1000 pages). I am not a fast reader but I love them. The last book annoyed me at many parts. I think she could have cut about 200 or so pages and it would have been better. I just think she was a little to repetative.

I think Harry should die. It would be an appropriate end for the series.
Good Books. The third movie sucked.

Posted: 10/12/04 at 5:16pmI love the third movie. I love the third book, and I really enjoyed the fifth book (which I also dressed up to go get at midnight... the costume has been reused, I was Hermione last Halloween, wore it to go see PoA, and will be Hermione again this Halloween, though sadly my wand and time-turner will not be here on time...) I love my Moony, and I darn near squeeled (at 1 AM, mind you) when he made his first appearance in OotP.

Posted: 10/12/04 at 5:18pmI actually liked the third movie better than the other two. It was dark and sometimes scary which is exactly what the third book was like. The third book was the turning point in the series. Since the third book, the series has gotten really dark and I think the movie pulled it off great.

They just left SO much out of the third movie. Problem is the books are getting thicker but the asshole studio execs won't let the movies get longer.

I am ashamed.
Every single time I pick up the 5th HP book, I cannot finish it. Everytime (never fails), I get assigned something else to read for school. I'm putting my foot down. Next semester, I am not scheduling an English class so I may read Harry Potter. No more of this crap. lol
