I don't think Harry will do it... I personally forsee an invasion of Hogwarts. Death eaters, dementors, and possibly half breeds if the ministry of magic continues the way they have been (Down with Fudge and Umbridge!) they may lose all of the werewolves, vampires, etc. to Voldemort.

nobizlikeshobiz - I met Emma Watson, she was very nice and clearly loves the role.

I think eventually there has to be an "end" to the story.

Hermione and Ron will get together and have a half dozen red headed babies.

Harry will end up killing Voldemort (hehehe I said his name) probably AFTER Dumbledore is killed by someone other than Harry.

Draco Malfoy HAS to die

In the end I think there will be a flash-forward like twenty years and Harry will end up has headmaster of Hogwarts.

You tell them Moony...Emma is the nicest person...Hermione is the brightest witch of her age!!!Prisoner was the BEST movie by far in the series.Hermione would have died to save her friends.Save them all she did.

It never actually said he died. He fell but that was all that was mentioned. He could still be alive.

I'm afraid Jo stated him to be as dead as you can be, and Nick said he wouldn't come back as a ghost. I think we have hope of perhaps a portrait.

Total Harry Potter freak here.

Harry will NOT end up as Headmaster, because JKR has said that none of the trio will teach at Hogwarts. There will be one student who will end up as a teacher, but it will be someone we don't expect. My money's on Neville.

I believe it was made quite clear that we won't see Sirius's spirit or ghost in Harry's conversation with Nick at the end of book 5.

Any rumors as to a release date are ridiculous, as the date won't be set until JKR hands the manuscript over to the publishers, just like what happened with OotP. And although she's said she's past the halfway mark, there's no telling when she'll be done with it.

Also, she's said it's "highly unlikely" that she'll write more HP novels past the seventh one. She says if she ever does write another book, it'll be a reference book of sorts for charity.

I don't really care WHO ends up together as long as Ron and Hermione do. Past that, JKR can do whatever she wants.

I find that JKR's official site (https://www.jkrowling.com) and The Leaky Cauldron (https://www.the-leaky-cauldron.org) have the best info when it comes to Harry Potter.

Okay, here's my guilty pleasure, but I'm a Harry Potter nutcase. (I hate the movies. Do not mention them in my presence.)

And I love Remus Lupin mroe than a person should. He is my darling. I always fall head-over-heels for those angsty characters.

I herd harry has to die to kill Vold. because part of V. is alive in Harry Therefore he must die to completely destroy V.

BroadwayMonkey has good taste in characters :)
Anyone think anything of Peter's silver hand? I don't think it means much. Jo made it very clear in book 5 that they were drinking from pure silver at dinner.
Anyone ave any good predictions? I can't find anything original anymore. :/
