I saw the pics on broadway.com before saw the ones posted on the main board, so I had already seen how cheerful he was (and the red tracksuit, LOL). But seeing him crying in those pictures was sad, because you know that had to be a hard decision for him to decide to leave.

the tracksuit was awesome! and those pictures of him crying are so touching. i'm waiting for him to update the blog on his website. i think the time has come.

i don't know if this was mentioned but John is performing at joes pub again on the 24th. I want to go! Is anyone else going?

John is great!! I had a chance to talk with him last year and he even signed my friend's hand because she lost her program. The next day we saw him going the opposite direction of us and i told her that it was John. She goes and screams, "JOHN!! You signed my hand!!" And he actually waved back and laughed. Awesome preformer and person!

that rocks- he does cool stuff like that... for my birthday my friends took me to see it-there were 7 of us, and he stood there for almost an hour talking to us. I felt so loved! Def. the best bday ever. Listening to AQ right now! he will be missed.

what have you asked him about and what were his answers? i'm never prepared when i meet people. i always think of the best questions afterwards and then i'm like, "ok, next time i'll prepare a question" but it never works well.

Alix, I know what you mean. There is a question I've been meaning to ask a certain someone ever since the first time I met him. And, every time I see him, I tell myself I'm gonna ask him this time. But, when I actually have the opportunity to talk to him, I completely forget to ask. Damn, I hate that!

John's blog was just recently updated. He says he's taking a couple of weeks off, then he's going to have a big announcement.

(He needs to fix his main page, though; it still says he's currently appearing in Avenue Q.)

yay! i got tickets for his monday (2/21) night show!

i had tickets for feb. 4th and realized right beforehand that my community theater production was going up that weekend so I gave the tickets to a friend.
