Yes, folks, musicians can make nice and simple videos that allow them to sing and charm.
Hoffs and Sweet just released a great new CD called "Under the Covers, Volume 2: the 1970s" which features renditions of "You're So Vain," "Maggie May," "All the Young Dudes," etc.
They will soon be on Howard Stern to promote. Can't wait.
I love it when these two record together, although I don't particularly care for Matthew Sweet (quit trying dude, you're talented, yes, but not the lovechild of Brian Wilson and Lindsay Buckingham). I LOVE the first "Under the Covers". IT introduced me to a lot of great songs.
My favorites on the new one are Susanna's take on "Maggie May" and "You're So Vain".
I still think she should've sang lead on "Warmth of the Sun" on the first record. But that's just me.
I'm the opposite. I like Matthew but not so much Susanna.
Loved it.
This is effing great.

Gorgeous arrangement, pristine recording. Thanks for the link. I do miss Apollonia (or somebody) saying ":Thank you" after "you're pure perfection." But otherwise five stars.

Me too! But I said it out loud just instinctively while listening.
