Calling Sally Field...

2 words: SEARCH FEAURE!!!!

I love wicked with a mad firey passion, too. But how many topics do we have to start? It's all te same, either one of the anti-wicked fans will start wicked fans need to find a life or the wicked fans will stay the other needs to stop picking on them. STOP IT!!!!!!!!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!

thank you

*dies laughing* wow. It's hysterical how many Wicked posts I've seen...and I've only been here for a short time. Hell, I loved Wicked, but all these posts are really turning me (and I'm sure a lot of others) off to it. It really is funny, all the bashing of, not the show, but it's rabid fans. *laughs again* =P
A most ingenious paradox.

woah...that was like a full on war!

Besides, this is SO last year....

Calling Sally Field...

I have something to say!!

I like Wicked. I do. Sure, it has its flaws, but so do all my favorite shows. However, I'm a closet Wicked fan. NOT because I'm afraid I'll be Wicked-bashed, but because I want nothing less than to be associated with the rabid fans it attracts.

Please, don't label me! I love Rodgers and Hammerstien, I grew up on the late great Howard Keel, and I wanted to grow up to be Doris Day! I don't want PMs saying "Omg ur awikxcd fan2???"

Is there anyone who feels my pain?

That may be KMC, but there's no reason why those of us who weren't here last year can't express ourselves now...
"I say YOU'RE the CUTEST one. No, I say YOU'RE the CUTEST One. And we go on like that from dawn to three."

Calling Sally Field...

Totally agree hon. Wicked's great, and if people don't think so, that's fine. All of my friends except one basically want nothing to do with it. If you feel that way, then don't post on Wicked threads, because it ruins our fun.

I'm a theatre snob.
And I'm proud of it.

That's all.

If the title is "Theatre Snobs [sic], Stop hating Wicked or it's [sic] fans.", does that mean we can hate one or the other?

I'm just sayin'. I know what I'll choose.
"It's not always about you!!!" (But if you think I'm referring to you anyway, then I probably am.)

You slut hussy! I will like or dislike WICKED if I want to. We live in America - you don't like it, GET OUT!
"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."

A theatre snob? I don't think having good taste means you're a snob. If so, then I am too.

Well, when someone calls me a Sondheim snob, for instance, I always take it as a sincere compliment, even if they don't mean it as one.

StickToPriest is right on the money.

However, I am too much of a "Theatre snob" that I feel I have no words for you, jarred. Your reply just shows how arrogant you are.

Hmmmmm. Take that as a compliment.
