As for the whole Wicked bashing thing, alot of the posters on this board are adults and college students. They have stressful lives, and if they vent their frustrations by taking a few tiny shots at Wicked, well, be happy they're (we're?) not driving down sidewalks picking off pedestrians. And as much as I enjoy Wicked/Ididna/Kristin/JLT/Shoshana/whoEVER, no show is perfect. It's opinions, no one's getting hurt, just let it go.

I love Wicked threads like these because we get to see supposedly intelligent and mature adults stoop to the level of a bunch of supposedly "retarded" and obsessed young teenaged Wicked fans.
BTW, son_of_a_gunn_25, I loved all the points your brought up in your original post and I think you hit the nail on the head regarding why people act a certain way to Wicked threads and it's fans. However, many of your points can be reversed and can explain the many people who also feel that the constant Wicked bashes (and yes Namo, they do exist)are annoying as well.
I noticed that many people here are saying that they should be able to bitch about Wicked because people live stressful lives and that they should be allowed to do that because it makes them happy...and I agree they should be able to do that if they wanted, but then turn around and talk about how these young posters shouldn't post about Wicked. I don't see how one can have it both ways.

I really must confess that the title of the thread established the negative tone from the onset. (i.e. "When did you stop beating your wife?")
BTW...why wasn't this thread put on the Main board, rather than the off-topic one?
I enjoy the off topic board more because I don't have to sift through those "What type of panty shields does Idina use?" threads.
I love Idina - she knocked my socks off when I saw her, and I love her in the cast recording of Lippa's "The Wild Party," but can't there be another board section titled "Wicked?"
That way, those who need their hourly "Wicked" fix can enjoy it without hearing from those who have long since found these threads to be so much "white noise."

Well Popa, you're right that it was just Kimmie making that specific point. I was touching on the general point, which is that people say that people have the right to criticize and make fun of any show they want to and the people that don't like should just deal.
What I meant in my post was that everytime a thread like this is made...whether it be the "No more Wicked" or "No more hatin' on Wicked" thread that seems to pop up every few weeks, I see people saying that people have the right to joke and poke fun of the fans of the show...then go off and complain about the fans and how they are ruining BWW with their endless threads on Wicked. Then it goes into a we're allowed to say what we want, so deal with it sort of thing. I think that was the part that got to me most.
Because of that, I don't know how one can say tell a certain group of posters to stop complaining about a certain group of people's posts and just deal with it, but then turn around and complain about that same group of people's posts.

And secondly, I am so TIRED of reading from a certain posting demographic on this site (okay, the young'uns), that something is "rude." Oh my, it was RUDE? Clutch the pearls and have that RUDE person removed from this cotillion. (Look it up at dictionary.com) If "rude" is the worst thing you've had to deal with today, consider yourself lucky.
