I saw this the other day, went in to in sneering "oh what could this be? I'm sure I've seen something exactly like this" and then was floored. It's gorgeous. It's great literature.

HA!
Thanks for sharing, Jordan!
Some people just don't ever get it. One poster had the gall to reduce it to the work of a stalker. A few others literally interpreted the time-line. I was thoroughly wowed by it.
I love it. Let's cast the movie version.

What I loved about it was that when I first saw this posted I clicked the link assuming "Beautiful" was being used sarcastically and it was going to be some strange diatribe full of misspelling and terribly misogynistic ramblings. Instead it was that rather heart warming piece of short prose.
Exactly my experience, AEA.
I clicked, was surprised and loved every moment of it.
When I saw a friend post it on Facebook this morning, I thought it was going to be something dirty also.

What I found intriguing was how it started with the appearance of a genuine missed connection and then creative writing took hold and ran wild. Not the most groundbreaking piece of literature but enjoyable nonetheless. I appreciate the creativity.
To each their own. I found it to be a big stinking pile of poo.
I kept wondering...where did they poo?! I guess SoMMS answered that!
It's what the French call a medafor. Some people honestly ain't got no F*CKin' class.
Merdefor!
Oh, good grief. Or "mon dieu", as the French would say.
The Q train to Manhattan. Of COURSE he was. Can't you just see this dude, sitting at his laptop in the Front Street Starbucks (all freaking day long) working on his epic Craigslist poem.
Straight women are so f***ed. They want sensitive, and the best they can hope for is this dude.
I wonder how she'll feel about the 'Ode to Bran Flakes' he'll bring home after 8 hours out of the house when he was supposed to be working on his resume?
Love it. I think Gabriel Garcia Marquez would as well.
Sierra Boggess would be PERFECT for this.
Jan Maxwell as the Union Square stop!
I'd like for some pop singer to do an updated cover of Stevie Wonder's classic LOVE'S IN NEED OF LOVE TODAY on the soundtrack. The link is to George Michael's take on what is an extremely challenging song to sing.
