surprise surprise! Elisabeth hated Obama's speech. Funny how she supported Bush through Katrina and this is much bigger issue and de-regulations were proven by Cheney, but this is all Obama's fault? ugh!!

Does anyone know what specifically had EH all worked up? Was it something Kathy says in her act? Or something in her book? Also.. FYI.. Kathy has already been back on the View once with Barbara there. A little digging and you will find it on you tube I am sure. The reason Walters has not been there recently is because she had major open heart surgery.

DAME, I think Elisabeth just hates her for what she says in her stand-up routines about her and The View. Also, Barbra's surgery wasn't what she considered to be major/life threatening. It was a problem that has existed for a number of years and they just thought it was time to fix it. She explained it a few days before she left to have the procedure. I forget what it is called.

True. Technically not life threatening. But definitely major. And at her age.. any kind of heart surgery is major.

oh yeah, I didn't mean to make it sound like it was nothing but it wasn't like triple bypass or anything. She didn't seem to be too worried about the procedure but yes, any heart surgery, I guess, would be considered major.

I loved watching Elisabeth freak out. My favorite part was when Kathy calmly asked her if she had anything else to say, as you know all of this will just make for an even better joke.

^ yeah, i had mentioned that BW can't berate EH due to her heart surgery but it seems like no one did after her behaviour today. I would almost tolerate it if she would let someone finish and also listen to what others are saying rather than tune out and then spew her gargage. joe scarborough loved the fighting because he didn't step and moderate the immature childishness of EH who makes herself looks like a spoiled little girl

the only time i was okay with elisabeth was when rosie went off and normally i agreed with rosie 110% but that day i actually did side with elisabeth.

Why people try and pick fights with comedians is beyond me, they will ALWAYS take you down. It's their JOB.

That cracked me up. EH's blood was boiling and you could see KG's eyes beaming with excitement.

Not rising to Kathy is the best thing to do, because anything you say will be instant material.

Sherri addressed it well I think with basically saying 'I've heard what you've said, it offended me, but I guess it's ok because it's just for the laughs - it's not intended to upset'.

Yes, Stockard. She needs to get off of that how many days it took Obama to respond train. She never fails to turn a subject around to that lately. They could be talking about Miley going commando and she woud say "It took Obama 50 days to respond to Miley not wearing panties and that's why we are in this mess". I wonder what Barbra is thinking or if she is calling in to the studio.

broadwayboy, I don't even know who the guy was that was on, but they were arguing about Hurricane Katrina vs. the BP Spill. Nobody else agreed with her that they were comparable.
