My only real thought was that had I been on that particular car, I wouldn't have thought she improved the situation. It certainly wasn't more pleasant. She should have sang some jazz.

I agree that her actions probably didn't help the situation, but I can't fault her for it. Any of these people on the subway are so irritating.

I saw Lea perform at Don't Quit Your Night Job and she did a song called Butch. It was all about defining her identity. It was nice to see a woman loud and proud of her butchdom!
