That makes me sick. We have guns for shooting skeet and trap (well they are my husband's) and they are locked in a gun safe in the basement. Why was this gun loaded and left where these kids could get it?

My dad gave me a 2 shot Derringer when I was 25 because I was traveling for my job. I got a permit to carry it in my car. I kept it in a locked box under my console. Had I ever needed it, I would have been SOL. I was never comfortable with it. He had wanted to buy me a pink one.

How sad. Usually pink is a very appealing color to me for things, but not in this case. I definitely can see where a child would think it was a toy. But then I wonder why it wasn't locked up. Stupid.
