Tiff: in a nutshell:
I was friends with this girl for about two years and we were bascially friends because we both loved theatre and both wanted to make a career out of it. Well things were fine until she went away to college fall of 03 and spent the semester in London. While she was gone, she would completely ignore me (while I was playing trips out my ass for us to go on when she came back - including buying $80+ tickets for her to see Cabaret with Adam before it closed). Well she came back and things were okay, her college friends seemed to be so much cooler than I was. Then she went on spring break back to the UK and left a message saying something about how Americans were losers. i was so upset. Other stuff happened and we stopped talking to each other. Then that summer we both auditioned for the same show at the local community theatre that we met doing shows at and I made it and she didn't. So since we didnt get to spend hardly any time together last summer, we planned trips to NYC to see Wicked with the OBC, Assassins, Rent for the first time on Broadway, and Aida with Adam. When we went to see Aida, not only were we almost late for the show because she was goofing off, but the next day after we saw Rent (which I gave her her ticket for her birthday) she wanted to meet up with a friend from college. I didn't have a problem with that, but we had a 4 hour drive home and I had ballet at 9AM the next morning. Well, her friend couldn't get into the city until 6:30 so we wouldn't leave until 9 if we were lucky, which put us at getting home around 1AM and I had to drive 1/2 from her house to mine. She got all upset with me and I was mad because not only were we running up our parking bill, but she sat there and sopped for over an hour because she couldn't see her friend.
Well I was going through a LOT last summer (after having the worst spring of my life, it seemed all of my friends and I were fighting about something or other, I had my heart broken more than once by people who said they would always be my friens and always be there for me - that turned out to be BULLCRAP) and when I finally found serenity going back to dance class I realized that I could do better than someone who constantly wants to pull me down and walk all over me.
That's the story in a nut shell. She's been trying to find ways to get all of the people she comes in contact with to hate me. All I have to do is tell them the story...
Do the pineapple dance! Do the pineapple dance!(think Cabaret)
I'll eat some breakfast then change the world.
