I leave next Thursday, 4/28 for London, arrive in London 4/29 in the morning, have 4/30 in London, and leave for Brussels on 5/1. Isn't that a ridiculously short amount of time for my first trip to London?! I don't even know if I'll be able to catch a show on 4/30 - all the good shows are sold out or astronomically priced!
Sorry to hear that, Tiffy. With the big name shows, I remember I bought tix three months in advance of going. And with your short time there, I suppose all the day-of tix would be more difficult to do? The main thing is that you're going, and you've got lots of things to do to occupy your time.

Well a Saturday matinee is better than nothing...Lennon in the afternoon, U2 in the evening - sounds like a fab day to me! No doubt the whole city will be in mourning on your birthday anyway. A glum day indeed.
Oh, and Cookie - I may be going to Barcelona this summer! Is it fab? Is it great? I can't wait to see Las Ramblas and the Sagrada Familia!
Ellie: Are you a seafood eater? They've got AMAZING seafood there. Make sure to go to Parc Guell. And Sagrada Familia was perhaps the most amazing part of the trip. Make sure to catch it at night when it's illuminated (I missed being able to do that). The Ramblas are cool and all. Great for people watching, but Barceloneta is better (where the Ramblas end at the piers)

i hate people too. and the nys regents.
CAKE!
Damn. I feel old. The last time I took a Regents exam was 10 years ago...
Regent ain't nuthin' but a hotel to me.
think qualifying exams needed to graduate from high school in New York State...
still hating people, Tiffy? *hug*
*hugs* Maybe law school isn't meant to be. I mean, who likes lawyers anyway? I should go for a more noble, honourable profession...like an actor...or a politician...or a journalist...
I am NOT hearing that from you Tiffy. Don't you dare utter those words until AFTER you've applied to law schools and gotten notices. Until then, you continue to work your ass off towards that law degree (if that is what you want), do you hear me?
I've already applied, Kissy. And today I contacted two of the ones I applied for (my top 2) and essentially discovered I won't be accepted to either, yet they won't send me my rejection letter until June.
I suck as a person. And I ate not one but two chocolate thins today.
You do NOT suck.
You haven't heard from the other schools yet. There's still hope.
Chin UP!!!
You guys remember me?
