I ate 8 pieces salmon sashimi and 2 chopped scallop cones for lunch, and I'm still so full, I feel I'm on the verge of vomiting.

Sort of, Kissy. I'm 25 lbs. fatter than I was this time one year ago. That's not good.

It sort of takes the joy out of eating, which means it's a struggle to get out of bed every morning.

oh Tiffy. I understand that it can be a struggle. And there's so much joy in eating. But you've had a stressful year. And you went to Europe where all the yummy yummy food is... when things settle down, you'll get through what you need to...

Oh Kissy, you're a doll. I hope you're right. Everything really went downhill after Europe - it made it difficult to not return home and continue to stuff my face with carbohydrates. I can't stay in denial about the weight gain forever though ("Sure *gasp*, I can *wheeze* close this....*squeak* button!"), or keep on procrastinating to lose it. Especially with October nearing - I can't have you guys see me looking like the Good Year blimp!

Hi DayDreamer! I was close-ish to your neck of the woods on Friday - if I ever get around to making the drive down to Seattle before you move outta there, I've got to drop you a line! (Same if you decide to venture up to Van City before you leave!)

BST, I've paid off almost all of my bills, but San Fran in September is looking dismal. On the bright side, NYC is sort of looking up. (I've gotta pay up for my Caribbean/Florida trip first!)

Hey poodle, when are you heading to NYC again? You WILL be there in October, oui? Has anyone tried the new Jergens Natural Glow lotion? It's supposed to give you a healthy tanned glow just by moisturizing. I bought a bottle and have used it for two days, but I can't tell if there's a difference between I've slathered it on every nook and cranny on my body, with no controlled variable body parts to spare.
