And DD, I can't wait either! Is my ticket still available? You can book me under the student discount you know! (Still having my college ID post-graduation does wonders!) Where are we eating?

(And I listen to DD because I'd do anything to bask in his company for an evening, plus he's SMing the show!)

I think we'll be dining either at Matador or Ovio. They're just up and down the street from the theater. Depending on traffic from the airport, we might be able to go to Alki for dinner, which would be nice.

And honey, you're SO comped for the show.

Really? Free house seats? 'Tis what I've grown accustomed to, but I didn't think my luck would stretch all the way to Seattle! You're a peach. I absolutely can't wait. (And I'm hitting my alma mater's library tomorrow to read the play and be better prepared!) I'll try to get the shuttle that arrives at 4:30pm then! What time will you need to be at the theatre by?

Of course you get house seats.

I need to be there between 6:30 and 6:45, so again, depending on traffic back from the airport, we might be able to make it to Alki, or just stay nearby. That way we won't be too rushed. That early we shouldn't have a problem getting a table and be out on time whereever we go.

And the show starts at 7:30.

Ovio is having a special 'Blood Brothers' prix-fixe dinner. Don't know what it is, I'll check it out and let you know.

Okay, off-topic for a moment...(Er, I suppose technically ON topic, since this IS the Bitches thread, which would naturally entail some...well, bitching...)

So these SH*Tty friends I've been complaining about, how I keep having to dig deep into my pockets for their birthdays and anniversaries without any reasonable reciprocation...well, it's MY birthday time again, and this has actually got to be worse than last year.

Now, instead of just combining my birthday party with one person, it's TWO additional people. AND--AND! The one organizing it said that since it's 3 people, they've decided to "lower the cap" for how much they're going to spend on everyone's presents. AND---AND!!!---they expect me to chip in for "all three people's birthday pots"---I'M one of those three people!!!!

Actually it's Mabel's birthday in two days, and I'm already all over it like Asians on rice (who aren't on Atkins).

And here's the thing! When it's THEIR birthdays, they expect me to pony up the full (and significantly larger) amount, and THEY don't get joint parties!
