Yup! The 9th is indeed my birthday - and quite the milestone one at that - which is why I've been not-so-subtly hinting for Payard's Louvre cake for the last half a year! (Of course, the privilege of spending the evening with you guys is gift enough!)


(I'm trying to get tickets for U2 - even though I've already got plenty - but I had a bit of bad karmic retribution regarding selling U2 tickets on eBay, and now my tail is between my legs.)

Oh, and to Siv, Nik and Ellie - Balthazar reservation is 2pm, 10/9.

To Siv, Nik, Ellie and Nic - Nobu reservation is 9:15pm, 10/9.

Rath and I had to put our credit card numbers down to secure the reservation, and it's $35 for each of your heads if you don't cancel in advance.

So basically...don't cancel. Or if you do, do it today. I think I speak for both of us when I say we'll be pissed if we're paying for your absence.
