"Black Christmas" is actually a remake of a 1974 horror flick - crazy killer, sorority girls, starring Margot Kidder and Andrea Martin (in the original - Michelle Tratchenberg and Lacey Chabert in the remake). It's pretty much a formulaic slasher flick with more back story for the killer. But it'll be crap.

I'm being sponsored to attend the Women's Campaign School, which is just for future politicians to hone their skills - I'm being sponsored by the politician and party I'm interning for. Should be sort of bland, but it looks good on the resume (and free lunches!).

I'm going for a minimalist style... well, because anything else would not go up the stairs to my new place. I've already scoped out a futon, and I'm thinking of bean bag chairs or big cushions.

I also need to buy a platform bed.

Bean bag chairs? Fabulous! GAH! Cam, if you read this, what was the name of that store we passed at that mall? DD, do you know the one? All they've got are bean bag chairs and they are SO COMFY! Cam and I plopped there and vegged a bit. It's in a mall in downtown Seattle, close to where we parked the car. I don't know if it's the one that has the monorail in it.

YES! That's it. I think the name was what initially drew us in. And naturally the risque comments started to fly...("Oh, what a huge, soft sac to get comfortable on! I can hardly get off once I'm on it!")

Crappy and...crappy. At least she's being released though. How did she get to the hospital in the first place?

And ew on the work front. I've got work again starting tomorrow - even the promise of on-the-clock meals and snacks doesn't appeal anymore. I actually wouldn't be dreading it if not for this one key PA who's the big cheese's son, and actually struts around, chomping gum, smoking in non-smoking areas, getting on other people's cases when they do the same, and then shrugs and goes, "What are you gonna do about it?" when they call him on it. It's enough to make me not want to be around the set. On the bright side, it's Chaos Theory again, and since they've called me back, it means I'll actually get to do something on set instead of being given the thankless first-day jobs.

Argh. Maybe I'll watch the East Coast Apprentice (since there'll probably be discussion on here for it) and the West Coast Bachelor then.

Any predictions on The Bachelor? He'd be hard-pressed to choose Moana, considering how they edited her throughout the show (yeah, I know he chose the person before it aired, but I doubt the editors would portray her in such an unfavorable light if she was The One, right?). I'm surprised that other one was in the final 2 - they don't seem like a proper fit (maybe because the bitch in me is thinking that it's rare for the guy in the relationship to be more attractive than the female).
