Actually, I am doing nothing right now. I have to wait until the work is done so I can print the covers and cut them. SO I am just sitting here doing not much of anything.

I had the worst day on set today. I'll go into more detail tomorrow (whether you like it or not! lol) but long story short, I got into a very...vocal...altercation with a Teamster, which was so loud and disruptive that we actually screwed up an important take and...it just wasn't a good situation. And then I was carrying one side of those splintery wooden tables, tripped on a gap in the plywood, went sprawling on the plywood with the edge of the table on my fingers. Now my hand, left boob and rib are bruised, my right knee is scraped, and my head was spinning and I saw seeing spots because of the force of my too-large cranium hitting my arm which hit the floor.

I'm in so much pain. I should've gotten it check out.

Ugh... I was about to bitch about my day and how I'm still at work and our copier just died and I have to run to Kinko's now... but suddenly it didn't seem that bad.

And yes, you should have gotten it checked out.

Yeah there is, but I should've gotten myself checked up by the on-site First Aid lady last night instead of waiting until now, because it'll be harder to make a claim. I kept trying to make excuses why to not see her (it honestly came down to a lack of confidence and willingness for her to have to prod around my waist, rib and boobage area) and I thought I was feeling better until I woke up.

That's okay, Tiff. Some injuries don't become obvious until later. Is there a call-in number? Or notify them first thing in the a.m.
I handle reporting our WC cases and it isn't uncommon for bruising and problems to show up after work hours.

Just be prompt about it.

(And LOL your term "boobage" LOL).

YWIW, not yet! But I'd give it until the beginning of next week before getting worried.

Beacon, that's true. The 'Priorities?-What's-That?' part of me though is worried my job with that show is already in question from that fight between the Teamster and me, so I don't want to compromise it even more by filing with WC. If things aren't better by tomorrow, though, I may have to blow off Campaign School (which will KILL me because the political party I'm interning for is sponsoring me to go) and get myself checked up. In the mean time, I'm just fidgety when I sit too long and my bones and muscles get stiff. I haven't been in this much pain before.

Tiff, this is the first I heard of your little accident. Report it as soon as possible, even if you don't think you have to. You never know, and you want to be covered. do it now! Are you still in pain? Do you have bruises? TAKE PICTURES OF THEM and I'm not kidding.

Jane, are you telling me you totally skipped through the posts I had on Idol and this thread in the middle of the night when I got home?? *hmph*

The bruising on my hand is lighter now - a bit yellow but not as painful as it was yesterday. There's some bruising on my knee, and the bottom of my right foot hurts, but I don't know if it's just swelling since I was standing for so long. My shoulders hurt, and so does the left part of my body, especially my back, ribs, waist and arm pit-to-boob area. But as far as I can tell, nothing's noticably bruised, which is why I'm hesitant to go to the doctor - hello, Manchausen's and hypochondria! It's just sore...my muscles and joints. I took a hot shower this morning but it didn't do much in the way of pain. I took a few Tylenol but I'm thinking I should cut down or else I'll become immune to them.
