“People think he looks so normal, and he’s so sweet and he’s so earnest, but he can’t carry a tune in a bucket,” says Justin. “I have a strange relationship with that show. I despise it, yet I’m completely fascinated.” Justin Timberlake Disses Taylor Hicks
"Smart! And into all those exotic mystiques -- The Kama Sutra and Chinese techniques. I hear she knows more than seventy-five. Call me tomorrow if you're still alive!"
I thought this was going to be a thread about Justin Timberlake saying that he didn't like to perform for uneducated, country people.
If anyone ever tells you that you put too much Parmesan cheese on your pasta, stop talking to them. You don't need that kind of negativity in your life.
Salve, Regina, Mater misericordiae
Vita, dulcedo, et spes nostra
Salve, Salve Regina
Ad te clamamus exsules filii Eva
Ad te suspiramus, gementes et flentes
O clemens O pia
I think that is a slippery slope when artists / musicians start criticizing other artists / musicians in a public forum like the one referenced here.
That said, I'm catching Justin's club show at Atlanta's Tabernacle (about 2000 people capacity) on Sunday night. We shall see how his new material sounds. The early buzz says that the new CD evokes classic Prince.
I am not into Taylor Hicks' voice, performance, or style. His will be the first Idol CD I don't intend to buy. However, I think JT was out of place commenting on Taylor like that. It would be like [name of a big pop star in the 90s] saying something bad abt JT when he was just starting out his career.
I like Taylor(although I still think Katherine should have won AI) but as for Timberlake, it's not like he can sing. Why should he be insulting other singers when no-one could call him a brilliant singer.
J'ai compris tous les mots, j'ai bien compris, merci.............
