Those goddamn people with peanut allergies, always bitching about their so-called "fatal allergy" to an extremely common and prolific food item that is processed in virtually every food manufacturing facility.

There are so many things wrong with your post, I don't even know where to start!

Really?! How do you know if you are far away enough that it won't affect you?

Yes, and you see that it's not allowed any more because we know the full effects of cigaretts. Besides it was 'allowed' when 'doctors' used to make commercials, telling people that smoking was good for them.

"What I don't think should happen is that we should be held hostage by some freaks that are out there."

And the non-smokers shouldn't be hled hostage by people who want to destroy their own bodies.

Stay home if you want to smoke.

^ Try telling that to a the parents of a child with a severe allergy, where just the slightest residue is a problem. I'm not even joking. A kid in my town got off of her school bus one day and had a severe reaction of some sort where she had to be transported to the hospital by ambulance. It was later discovered the friend she was sitting with had peanut butter for lunch, and some of the oil may have been on her skin still or something.

Of course that's exactly what can happen to someone with severe peanut allergies Goth. Working in a school I've seen a kids airways close up just from sitting next to someone eating peanuts. Some people can have severe reactions just from inhaling the dust from a peanut or peanut shell. It's also one of the most common food allergies in the country and has been on the rise for years...especially in children.

Because if you ask that, then you have to ask who is going to pay for people who blow out their heart eating hamburgers and who is going to pay for people who blow out their livers drinking alcohol and who is going to pay for people who [insert any behavior pattern that someone else doesn't like].

I find these to be poor examples. The person eating hamburgers everyday is only hurting their own health. If they're sitting at a table in Times Square their meal does hurt the health of anyone else. Same for the heavy drinkers (people who drive under the influence aside). The only liver infected is their own. There is no "second-hand hamburger" or "second-hand alcohol".

But still someone has to pay the health cost. FN was trying to say that smoking causes greater health costs. I was saying so does every other behavior whether it be poor eating habits or unsafe sex or whatever. And especially with government healthcare, we'll all be paying for everything.

If anyone ever tells you that you put too much Parmesan cheese on your pasta, stop talking to them. You don't need that kind of negativity in your life.

You are really going to compare cigarette smoking to eating?

Food can either be good for you or not. That’s a CHOICE! Cigarettes are NEVER good for you, no matter how you use them. You can’t say that about food.

They can fend off hunger pangs

They can calm your nerves

They can be used to light a putty nose on fire while entertaining Hollywood royalty

They can fog up a room so you don't have to look at your blind date

Their packaging uses 75% of the aluminum foil manufactured in the US

If anyone ever tells you that you put too much Parmesan cheese on your pasta, stop talking to them. You don't need that kind of negativity in your life.

I feel cigarette smoking is like personal hygiene. Do it in your own fcuking bathroom because I don’t need to see it.
