I think I'll add Club Dread to this list. Only movie I have ever walked out on. Don't even ask how I ended up there in the first place..

I did too, Bobo. I didn't hate it because I went into it with the lowest possible expectations. Even with those expectations I ended up being unsettled with it.

From Justin to Kelly, Baby Geniuses, Battlefield Earth, Bio-Dome, and The Adventures of Pluto Nash.

Out of these, I've only seen Baby Geniuses and part of Battlefield Earth. The rest are in by reputation. :)

Ghost Ship. I was SO close to walking out, and if I didn't have my girlfriend with me, I would have. To find out she wanted to leave to. I wish I knew that at the time.

Apparently I may be the only person in the country who hated it, but The English Patient was one of the worst films I've ever seen.

Ya know, when I was a kid I loved Howard the Duck. I haven't seen it since I was about 8 but if I did see it now, I would probably hate it. Also, MARS ATTACKS. I know it is meant to be silly, but I was bored out of my skull

BLAIR WITCH PROJECT -- What was that?


DG: I thought THE ENGLISH PATIENT to be quite a sensual and wonderful film. Then again, I really found CHICAGO poor, poor, poor. And Renee so miscast as to be unwatchable. If we disagree, might that be because I'm in NYC and you're in CA?

Now see, I enjoyed Chicago quite a bit. We were all very worried it would be another ACL the Movie. I think the movie version of Chicago held very true to the stage version and if anything, the only regret about the entire thing I have is that people compare the two.

Worst movie ever made: Scissors, with Sharon Stone. *shudder*

Oh, and Chopper Chicks in Zombietown. I have a big problem with Vicki Frederick getting blown up under a bus. Damn that gave me nightmares.

Jose' - Not sure about the geography thing, as I'm originally from the 'right' coast My beef with English Patient has most to do with the source material I think. I was so turned off by the movie that I didn't bother trying to find out, though. As for Chicago, considering how many years I had waited to see it done, I was amazed I wasn't mortified. And Renee' obviously gave a performance that 'divided the masses,' so to speak. It could have been A LOT worse I think.

Funny Matt_G, I'd of thought you'd be in full support of a movie where Henry Thomas, Aidan Quinn and Brad Pitt are brothers and all sleep with the same woman, no less.

I guess my expectation weren't met spoiled after seeing the original production of CHICAGO numerous times and the ENCORES! revival that sparked the Broadway production.

Next to Renee, the biggest beef I have with the film is that nowhere do you actually see Renee or Greer dancing in full. A personal friend has direct contact with the creative side of the film. It's been acknowledged that Renee and Greer did not do their own dancing and that dancing doubles were used.
