Erika, it is quite beautiful.
The weather has been wonderful.

Glad it went well - have a great run
Oh Erika - it looks just wonderful! I wanted to come see it so bad but something happened and I had to cancel my trip there. I can't tell you how disappointed I am. I hope the run is great, the reviews fantastic, and that you have a terrific time doing it. My biggest wish is that it leads to even more wonderful things in the very near future!
Congrats Erika - it looks great.
Hopefully it will be the start of something amazing!
Congratulations. That "Serenity" picture is beautiful.
Great pics! Your costumes are terrific, and you all look wonderful. I hope you're getting agents, managers, casting directors, and of course the entire BWW East Coast constituency out to see it.
Run, don't walk, people! She's well worth the trek, and you can't go wrong with that ticket price.

DG: Thanks so much!
Mamie: Oh, I'm so sorry to hear that. It would have been wonderful to finally meet you in person! Next time.
And thank you so very much for your good wishes; they mean a lot.
YWIW: Thanks, my dear!

b12b: Sadly, with it being in Queens, I'm having a hard time getting my agent to commit to coming out. However, a good many of the Sleeping Beauty Wakes folks have RSVP'ed that they're coming, which is great, and some reviewers are coming as well (saw one of them taking notes in the front row...eek!)
"My voice teacher said that in her old opera company, on opening night, you would walk up to someone and "spit" twice on their back, one for either side. Somehow it was good luck. I never really got it, but I found it amusing."
Your voice teacher must have belonged to an opera company in prison.
EriKa!
Break legs and things! I'll be out in Maine next month for the summer, come see me!

I'm looking forward to seeing you tonight Erika. The pictures look great.
I DID see a story on some prison teaching its inmates how to do Shakespeare…

wexy: Thanks! I'm looking forward to seeing you, too!!
Diva: Hey! Next month? May or June? I'll still be here in May, but I think I'll be back in LA in June.
mauriposa: Thanks so much... I wish you could, too!
ShbrtAlley: Awwwwwww... You rock. Thanks!
Congratulations on your first NYC show, Erika. I didn't know you were in it, but your enthusiasm is encouraging me to grab tickets (the APAC is about 5 blocks from me!)
I noticed TRIUMPH OF LOVE listed on an online ticketing program yesterday (not on there today), but if it shows-up again on a night I'm free, I'm so there!
BREAK A LEG!
PS: Husk, that spitting over the shoulder is a luck thing. My director back in college used to spit twice (well, make the spitting sound, not actually salivate) over ALL of the cast-members' left-shoulders before we went on-stage. It became habitual, so many of us originally from that show continue to do it today. It's just another theatre-superstition. I'd be curious to find an accurate explanation behind its folklore.
again i wish i could go, and again stupid fl *grumbles*

I just came back from seeing Erika. She was great as were her cast mates. I really enjoyed the production.
It's worth the trip to Astoria. Its funny I'm a Brooklyn boy and never took the N that way. My first trip that part of Queens.
Those of who can, I urge you all to go see the show. It was good seeing Erika and we all made a mad dash to catch the N back to Manhattan afterwards.
