Hey, second billing in the cast lineup, not bad!
Good show! Break a leg or two!
Is the spitting on the back thing still being used, or was that just what my crazy voice teacher did?
Wow that's wonderful, Erika! Have a great run!

harris: LOL! Well, FL is pretty nice, so... :-P
husk: What? What spitting on the back thing? And the flyer just uses alphabetical order. I'm actually third billed in the program. After Abby (Leonide) and Tripp (Agis).
Thanks so much, Jane!

I can't wait!
Though I might be more excited to say that I saw a show at a Broccoli theater :)
Break a leg! Wish I could be there to see it. I'll give a standing ovation in absentia.

Best of luck Erika. I wish I could be there.

My voice teacher said that in her old opera company, on opening night, you would walk up to someone and "spit" twice on their back, one for either side. Somehow it was good luck. I never really got it, but I found it amusing.
How exciting!!! Break a leg!
I'll be sitting across the pond thinking of you!
:)
Break a leg!!! Lots of good thoughts to you!

Thanks so much guys!
Husk: Ewwwwwwww... Weird. Nope, never done that. :-P
Wexy: Yay! It'll be geat having you and Liotte there!
Kalimba: I have no idea. I can find it if I search, but when I click on it, nothing comes up; it appears to have been deleted. So I started a new one.
Just got this from Erika:
APAC is very generously offering a special friends of cast and crew rate of $10 per ticket for the opening weekend of "Triumph of Love." (4/25, 4/26, 4/27)
Just call 718-393-7505 to make a reservation, then mention my name (Erika Amato) and that you would like the friend rate.
So does anyone want to try to get together that weekend to see it?
Congratulations!!! I wish to anything that I could come see it. Maybe if you ever do a show in Kansas...?
Good Luck Erika, break a leg!

Hey Erika.. you look way too young for the role.. but I am sure you will be great. ( You always are)

DAME: Well, I am way too young for the role, if you're comparing me to BB (I'm at least 15 years younger than she was when she did it), but our cast is super young, and I'm only supposed to be Agis's aunt (not mother), so I think it works OK that in real life I'm more than 10 years older than the actors playing Agis, Leonide, etc. (Plus, I had no makeup on in that pic. Makeup makes me look older.)
But we'll see, won't we? lol!
