This lady my aunt knows from two towns over lost her kitty, Trixie, to that feline leukemia thing. It's rilly sod.

I know how you feel. My cousin's friend's half brother had a dog that died 15 years ago.
I still cry sometimes.

Oh God, how adorable she was. My thoughts are with you, your aunt and your aunt's aquaintance from two towns over. I'll remember you all in my prayers.

Posted: 3/26/06 at 2:49pmAwwwwwwwwwwwww, I had a dog named Trixie and she died too like three years ago or something. She had cancer too so we had to cut her leg off and she'd hop around on three legs and make us giggle. I'll bet they're playing together right now. Except my dog ate kittens. So now that other Trixie is in Kitty Heaven Heaven.

Before this thread becomes about someone it's not, let's steer the focus back to Trixie. Namo, do you have any poignant stories about her you could share? I, for one, would like to know why she didn't have any ears.

That Dame (avatar by Sueleen) and Rath can't see the difference is exactly the problem. But this is not the place for them to be stupid, they've created enough of those for themselves.
This is about, as Kringas pointed out so sensitively, about Trixie. And grief. And community, not about a pair of exhibitionists.

Posted: 3/26/06 at 2:57pmWell you know cats have nine lives or something so Trixie now probably is someone else's cat who knows she might even be with Queen Elizabeth or something LOLOL!

Oh Namo. I pity you. You poor thing. I think you should be Corines next charity.
And yes.. Sueleen has graciously allowed me to use her avatar. She ( in my opinion) is a artist, Her idina avatar put her on the map.

I'm sure Sueleen values your validation very very much, Dame. Every circle I travel in considers you to be highly credible.
And Over The Moon, you are on fire today, girl.
Back to Trixie, (that's "Trixie" Dame, not "tricks," I'm aware of your challenges with language), why does g-d take our pets away? Or, pets from two towns over from my Aunt's.
Do you think S/He makes them into little furry angels with wings?
