N6, I believe that the people posting on these threads have shown remarkable restraint and more respect for Chant than he or she shows for anyone else on his/her radar.

Sadly, the posts this person makes on every thread in which she/he takes an interest reveal and very disturbed, very narrow minded person who believes that only someone who has the same opinions is worth the breath of life. Beyond the narrow vantage point, there also seems to be an incredibly strong paranoia. I think it is best if we do not engage her/him in discussion since it may cause him/her to have a stroke.

If this person is not a troll, he/she needs some good professional help by entire team of therapists. Whether we are right wing, left wing or middle wing doesn't seem to matter, unless we believe that LEFT WING LIBERALS (by his/her definition, that would be all democrats, I guess, and any republican who does not agree with her/his hate spewing philosophy) should be lynched.

I find these posts by Chant incredibly sad.

I can't claim any real interest in what Chanti is posting here, but I am curious about the apparently accepted status as a teacher. I looked at the blog page referenced on his profile here, but the profile linked on it doesn't tell me anything - it's like it's been erased. Where is the information coming from that we are, in fact, dealing with a teacher?

He may have erased it, but the first post on his blog originally linked to a show he was directing at the high school he teaches at.

And he also referred to his profession on the board prior to that.

That's what I asked. But apparently he "has the day off", which is rather unusual for a Tuesday during the second week of school....

Code for suspension pending investigation, perhaps?

Thanks, Colleen. I went to the initial posts archived on his blog, and saw a couple of self-references to being a teacher. No indication, though, in what type of school (although, he does seem to present being a drama teacher.)

And Windy, I've been wondering that same thing. I've also been wondering how his philosophies color his teaching, when it might be occuring.
