I saw this movie and told my friend I was considering a mid-life crisis affair with a younger guy (I'm only 20 now). He said he fully supported me, but recommended that I don't marry someone like Richard Gere.
My favorite scene is the one where she's on the subway and having flashbacks to sleeping with Paul for the first time. Her expressions in reaction to the memories just say so much about what's going on inside her head.
I have one issue, though. Diane Lane seriously looks like she needs to eat a sandwich in this movie. She's too good of an actress to get caught up in the Hollywood skeletal-look, and it definitely ruins the otherwise hot sex scenes when her ribcage sticks out more than her boobs.
