Vagina Monologues

I was just cast in this show, and I am SO EXCITED! Rehearsals start in January...I don't get my own monologue, but, i'm in the ensemble so I guess that's still cool! I'm not framiliar with this show at ALL So i'm looking forward to this experience! Yay!

I get to audition for the Vagina Monologues today and I'm really excited. Has anybody else ever been in this show?

As an extremely masculine gay male cowboy type, I've seen the show three times. I LOVE it I love it I love it.

I saw the HBO production - I have never seen it live.

Part of it made me really angry, others made me laugh, others cry.

I love it.

I've never seen the HBO either. Because I loved the stage show so.

I saw it with Eve, and with Robin Givens, Rosie Perez, Julie Halston... and three other people I can't remember right now.

I haven't seen a non-Eq production, but I bet it works well even with large ensembles.

I have always wanted to see the Vagina Monologues. There is also another performance that is currently touring called THE PENIS PLAY.......it is just a short one act play.

I once saw a production starring Patty Hearst, believe it or not. That was...interesting.

I saw several of the shows at the Westside because I was working there then. Lots of fun! But I'm trying to imagine where an ensemble would be used? Has anyone seen it with an ensemble who can describe it?

I just wanted everyone to know that I got in and I get to do a monologue in the show! This will be my first performance as a college student and I'm very excited

Saw the show twice. Once with Marsha Wallace...I kept thinking "OH MA GAWD, IT'S MISS KRABAPPEL!!" Loved the show both times. It also made me laugh, cry and become very angry!!

I loved this show. I it with two 'regulars' Tracey A. Leigh and Amy Love and Shawn Colvin as the guest for the week. It was excellent.

I don't get my script until tomorrow but I do know that my monologue is one of the newer ones and that it's about the ladies at a Japanese concentration camps and how they were forced to have intercourse with the soldiers. I just found this piece so emotionally heart wrenching and the director told me that she haden't been able to find anyone to portray it as well as I did so...YAY! I am so so excited Thanks for the congratulations everyone :)

I had the honor of being in it last year at my school, performing "The Flood." It was an amazing experience. I'm auditioning for this year's show tomorrow, so I am hoping to participate again.

We do this show every year at the university I go to. Last year I was in the "Wear and Say List", "Smell list", and I peroformed the "Happy Fact"...it's an incredible show!
