Good theory. I couldnt have thought of that.
I just want the new season start... now

I've heard that theory...
and it seems plausible...
But, for the single reason that it has anything to do with kendell... I don't seem to care... lol
I really hope that since this new season is starting with something of a pilot episode for new viewers that it will still be the same, good ol', veronica mars.

A couple of weeks ago Guy Bee was directing an episode of "Kyle XY" that I was working on. I recognized the name right away because he directed a few VM episodes, particularly one of my faves of the past season, "Ain't No Magic Mountain High Enough". ("I saw her lurking." "And by lurking you mean, 'Standing while black?'") It takes a lot to make me like Jackie! Truly an honour to be able to hang around the monitors and watch Guy work. He got along well with the cast and crew, told fascinating stories about his stints on different shows, finished scenes quickly, and best of all --- wore a VM season 1 jacket to set one day, which looks like the gold and green VM jock jacket except with "season 1" on the sleeve instead of a pirate. I couldn't even contain my fangirlness.

That's so cool, Tiff!

VM is my favorite television show ever. I can't wait for this season to start; I've gone through my DVDs way too many times this summer in order to get my VM fix.

That briefcase theory is interesting, but I'm not so sure about it. I don't know if that would be enough to make Keith stand up Veronica at the airport. But I guess it's possible; we'll see!

Funny fact: there were actually cookies in the briefcase when Enrico opened it. There's a really funny video interview by Kristen at E!Online with Enrico; I'll go look for the clip.

ETA: the clip is the last one on this page.

I stand by my deduction. What if there was something about Lianne, V's mother? Keith might have had Cliff looking into her or her affair with Mr. Kane or any number of things. It would have to be something with personal resonance to keep Keith from meeting Veronica at the airport.

Am I the only one who thinks that Lisa Rinna's character of Lynne Echolls is not dead, yes, I know the footage of her jumping was from that kid's video, but I dont know. Something fishy.

So trying to avoid the spoilers here since I'm only partly through the second disc - but I just found out season two is being released at the end of August -- just enough time to watch it before season three starts :)

Don't spoil anything for me....

It's too bad Lilly is dead (and no spoiler if you've never seen the show, you know that in the first 20 seconds of the first episode) because she was really hot.
And Logan looks like my cousin. Just saying.

Oh don't worry I won't, that would be just so mean...

How old is the actress that plays Lily? I want to know if Jason is a pedophile or not...re: Veronica Mars

Oh, so you guys don't know all the second season stuff??
Man... I could totally spoil the rest of the series for you...
But that would be pointless.
I'll be honest, I've almost slipped a lot to my sister who has yet to see the second season... and accidentally did slip one thing last night... but then made up something afterwards so that she doesn't know what's actually true... good cover... ha ha

Okay what happened to Duncan. I missed one show and the next he was not on it. The season finale showed him on a beach with a baby. Was that his old girlfriend. Need the scoop.

****SPOILER ALERT - Don't read the next few lines if you want to be unspoiled for season 2****

After Meg's death following the birth of her and Duncan's baby, the Manning family denied Duncan visitation rights and were fighting to gain sole custody of the baby. They were playing down and dirty, bringing up the incident of Duncan and Veronica breaking into the house and Duncan's epilepsy. So with the help of Veronica and Vinnie VanLowe, Duncan escaped to Mexico with baby Lilly in the company of his mother's personal assistant. Apparently after Mexico, Duncan took his daughter to Australia (where he was during the season finale).

Any further questions can be answered by purusing the VM section at htt://www.televisionwithoutpity.com. Another good website for VM info is http://www.marsinvestigations.net.

Hope that helped!

And in answer to Caitie, Amanday Seyfried will be 21 in December. There is nothing pervy about her and Jason Dohring doing scenes together.

I'm a huge fan of Veronica Mars, but if you miss the first five minutes of that show, you have no clue what's going on for the rest of the episode.

Going back a little, I stand by my theory that the briefcase contains the soul of Marsellus Wallace.

Next year they're not doing a season-long mystery; they're breaking it up into about 3 large mysteries, lasting 6-8 episodes each. That way it'll be easier to start watching in the middle of the season. Although that doesn't seem as exciting to me as stretching out one story over the course of the season, I guess it does make more sense.

I LOVE this show! It's probably my favorite right now. I started watching last summer and ended up watching the entire season in about 2 days. It was SO addicting.

This season there were so many reruns after Christmas, that I somehow missed a new episode and was lost forever. I can't wait for the DVD to come out so I can watch the whole thing without being lost!

I cant wait for the show to come back. Period.
They showed a clip of a movie that Kristen is doing with Dan Floger from Spelling Bee on TRL and I screamed VERONICA MARS! and everyone in the room looked at me strangely.

Oh yeah, Fanboys? Wanna see it! Pulse? Wanna see it! Fifty Pills? Wanna see it!
All because of Kristen Bell (although I would have wanted to see Fanboys anyway). She's a tremendous actor.
Here's to hoping she gets an Emmy nod tomorrow!

Oh, and I'm not hugely excited about the fact that they're treating the first episode of next season like a pilot episode for all new fans. There's so much backstory to this show... if they don't mention Lily or the Kane family at all anymore or the fact that Veronica was a pariah at her school and her former life and everything about her mom... it will just seem weird. Hopefully they'll try to include as much as possible from the last few seasons so it gives a chance for those stories to still be part of the show.

I hope Rob Thomas and the writing staff can keep toeing the line between engaging the fan base and pandering to it. And that the 3rd season gets some damn ratings. But of course, it won't, because House has also moved to 9pm Tuesdays and it's a ratings juggernaut. (I like that show, but I'm seriously pissed that it's the latest thing to crush poor teeny VM.)
