You are some of the most judgmental people I have ever met/chatted with. Which just proves your immaturity. You know nothing about me. I pay rent, I pay for my own food/gas, everything. I think of all my friends who graduated in my class, only one or two are actually living on their own, the rest are living at home saving up to move out, which is exactly what I'm doing. Even the liberals live at home. Now would you be judgmental to a liberal if they just graduated and were living at home?

I'm not sure if you know this, but if you do any research 53% of recent college grads are unemployed under Obama. Snafu, what was the unemployment rate when you graduated? Not 53%. And I have a job lined up believe it or not.

And don't even talk to me about being entitled. Do you believe all those obama supporters who get everything for free, including cell phones are entitled to all that because they're too lazy to work? I don't live on food stamps although I would probably quality, I could live on my own right now I just choose not to because I would rather wait until I have a more stable job, and that's what most people my age are doing now.

Abby, we have caught you in your lies.
And the best part is, you have yet to answer some basic questions thrown your way about your hero...Mitt Romney.
Instead of answering, you go off on a tangent about how we are the "uneducated" ones. Grow up. You are most likely in high school listening to mommy and daddy's brainless rhetoric about the economy brought to you by the far right.
If you really want facts, then why don't you agree with the fact that the economy is indeed getting better? You do realize that CREDIBLE economists have actually stated that we are in an upswing, right?
Obama has had FOUR YEARS to fix this **** hole we are in. FOUR YEARS. Your precious moron went on record to say he will fix it in eight to ten years. So here's another basic question. Why should we give him eight to ten years, when you guys only gave Obama less then four? Hmm? Answer that one. Because guess what, Obama inherited a much bigger problem in this country then Romney will if he by some slim chance gets elected.

AbbyNormal13, what rent do you pay if you live with your parents? Two or three hundred bucks? And are your parents going to be firm if you can't pay the rent? I know if I don't pay, I get kicked out. I've been homeless and I'm not going back.

A lot of my classmates live in the dorms during term and go back home during the breaks. There's nothing wrong with living at home but don't pretend that having your parents as landlords and having a real landlord are the same thing.

"You are some of the most judgmental people I have ever met/chatted with."

Really? Have you ever left your house.

All of your "research" seems to come from Fox News. And can you please stop repeating their bs like people "who get everything for free, including cellphones," because a) "everything" would include cellphones, and b) you don't know what you're talking about.

I'm not saying it's the same thing, and when I move out I plan on having multiple roommates to make it easier. but do you have any idea how many college grads are doing the exact same thing I'm doing? Living at home to save up money? Things aren't as good now as they were 20+ years ago. If this was the 1970s or 80s I probably would be living on my own by now. But I will be in the next few months.

Good for you. If you are indeed out of college.
But really...can you answer that question? I am eager to know your answer.

No, you wouldn't. You wouldn't have been able to afford it under the rampant inflation of Gerald Ford or Ronald Reagan. Don't speak of what you know not.

Snapping fingers reading tiny and SNAFU's comments.

Let me just said I could not have done what SNAFU did to save my life. I also could not be a teacher and not because I hate the profession, but there is no way I could do it in the environment required to be an educator with rising class sizes, nothing but standardized tests over substantive, in-depth lesson plans on the subject, and dealing with kids who are off on a different planet thanks to iPhones and iPods from mommy and daddy. I hate that the teaching profession has been sullied and made that the people who teach are somehow overpaid in a profession that frankly needs a person in the position to act in multiple roles in addition to educator to hundreds of students every day. It is a profession you are in for the long-haul, not a job you just take for a couple of years because of the schedule or income, both of which are actually not as great as the surface suggests.

I also love that Bailey/Abby/sports fan points out how her GPA in HS and college supposedly indicates intelligence/competence/brilliance while decrying the education system being full of nothing but evil libruls. Why are you complaining about it if you did great in that high school that apparently got you into a good college where you excelled? I had a terrible high school experience but it had little to do with the teachers and on the whole, I had a lot of good, caring teachers, a few of whom I still am in contact with today, who were a good help to me with those other problems. Yeah I had some bad teachers too, one who got eaten alive by my classmates easily sidetracked from the lesson plan and the other was a brilliant Ivy League graduate who really did not know how to explain physics to the average high school student. Those stick out only because they were an anomaly. Neither got tenure as far as I know from, one left the district and the other just quit. This was not a school district thought of as the upper-echelon either, but I knew plenty of smart kids who went to great colleges and already have jobs. Most of them were always on good terms with their teachers and did not play victim or think of their teaches as overpaid, incompetent, godless, liberals.

Blaming it on teachers unions is just about the same as blaming any labor union but add in lack of accountability with districts, parents, students, and policymakers places it on the teacher. Not saying there are not bad teachers. They do exist but I am certain you will find it as frequent in those beloved charter schools or coming out of the pet program Teach for America than at some AFT rally. Give me certified union thug teacher over whoever comes from Abby's circle of entitlement that pretty much stained my generation.

Also Abby, you being one to demand posters answer questions when you avoided actually answering my question about Mitt Romney's foreign policy platform on page 2 of this thread.

And it's Obama's fault that a recent graduate, who might've majored in, I don't know, Ancient Studies or something just as stupid, can't find a job in their chosen field?

Most of my friends do not work at the job they supposedly mastered in college, except my few lawyer friends. My boyfriend graduated with a degree in biology and hasn't worked at any science related jobs. Another friend graduated with a degree from the California Culinary Academy and has been waiting tables for 20 years.

People who blame Obama for the unemployment, especially their own, are just lazy. I've worked continuously, with at least 2 jobs, for the last four years. That's my own achievement.

^^^ Abby prefers to deflect by whining about name calling and hoping nobody notices she doesn't answer questions. Kinda like Sarah Palin and Mitt Romney.

Abby, what do government programs all have in common? Their urls end in .gov.

How does the url in your link end?

You think it was easier in the 70s, 80s. What about the Depression? Wow, your generation has excuses for everything.

BTW I think, this is really what we're all trying to say:

Instead of parroting sound bite catch phrase crap from FOX, say this:

I am a proud 23 yr old Republican, who is most fortunate to have great parents who saved enough money for me to go to a nice college.

They also love me so much that, after college, when I was unable to find a full time job, or apt. I could afford, they let me live in their house, eat their food, use their furniture and electricity, etc. because they are my parents and would do anything for me. I am soooo fortunate and grateful that I just happened to get lucky to be born to a household that is not poverty stricken.

I am a young, spirited, physically able person and appreciate all the opportunities that may await me if I am diligent, hard working and patient. Most of all I should be HUMBLE, and remember that those less fortunate than I may have fallen on hard times because of a multitude of factors. I should NEVER take for granted that my own life will always be happy and prosperous. I will face hard times, I might aquire ill health or need the assistance of others or the gov't to help me through tough times periodically. I should LISTEN to those with wisdom and experience to help me understand the complexities of life.

Abby, you didn't answer my questions regarding your rent. Percentage wise, how much of your rent do you pay? I'm slightly rounding up, because my tips fluctuate, but I make about 4 times my rent. My rent is about 25-27% of my monthly income. What is yours? What happens if you can't, or don't, pay it?

You've said more than once that you live with your parents but then you say you pay rent. How does that work?

Oh Jesus Christ. Okay lets just think here for a moment. Gov't assistant cellphone would be called... Obama Phone? Yeah no... And that site is a .net and not a .gov? Yeah no...

How about I just link a site you've linked to before, you remember? Forbes? Yeah... where they discredit that whole "Obama Phone" thing...

Abby/Bailey. Are you aware this program started way before Obama? Please, do some research. You come off looking like a bigger idiot than usual.
