i LOVED the julie andrews hour! how great to know there are clips from it on youtube :) now if it would just be released on dvd ...
Here's a major chunk of The Julie Andrews Show, which was one of Julie's television specials. It aired while The Sound of Music was playing in theaters. It proved so popular that NBC showed it 2 more times.
The Julie Andrews Show
It just ends in the middle of a scene?
I know. He wouldn't win any awards for editing.
You want something entertaining then find the clip of Julie Andrews singing 70's and 80's songs with Carol Burnett on YT. Julie singing "Bad". By Michael Jackson. It's a RIOT.
I have that special.
Here's another clip. I sort of figured out how to extract video, but not without issues. I have not been able to successfully load anything to Youtube, even though it tells me it did load. I was at the taping of this show, which went on forever. Some things were pre-recorded, but most of it was sung live. This clip was live, even though the way the clip plays, it doesn't quite look it. Anyway, it was a genuine thrill to be there.

Fun, isn't it. You should ID your videos with the name of the song. They're a little hard to tell apart.
Not Andrews or Lansbury (more of them coming up next), but rather, more of Robert Goulet. This time he's with Sally Ann Howes from Brigadoon
The Heather on the Hill
Bringing this thread full circle, here is a clip with Julie singing one of her songs cut from My Fair Lady and later used in Gigi and Angela Lansbury singing I Don't Want to Know.
