Any miracles today?

Yes, it looks like a vagina.

Hey, if thse folks want a miracle, they should come to th Illinois Theatre Center in Park Forest. All of our wooden doors have the face of Jesus in them!

Seriously - when these doors were manufactured, the outer layer of wood veneer obviously came from the same big tree - and the pattern of the woodgrain has a face in it that looks like Jesus!

Either Jesus or John Lennon or Tommy Chong or Charles Manson... - some dude with long hair and a beard...

On the news again this morning.
Big crowd.
Our Lady of Traffic Flow?
Too bad she didn't show up in the "El".
That's where we need a miracle.

I think there's a musical about this in our future.

Amen to that, Glebb.

And Jon, are you sure it isn't Harvey Fierstein on the doors?

PEACE.

I used to live near there! LOL !! Jarico and I walked by there all the time. It doesn't even resemble a woman. It looks more like Ghost #72 from Scooby Doo. Well, people see what they want, I guess. It's really kind of pathetic.

I love how someone scrawled "Satan Loves U" on the wall right next to it.

Just can't leave well enough alone.....

There was a lovely article in the paper today that hundreds of people spent the night praying and singing and that there was so much hub-bub that 4 squad cars were stationed by the salt stain to keep the peace. The reporter covering the event also pointed out that there were homeless people begging near the site and not one of the Pilgrims even looked their way, much less dropped a dime their way.

I wonder if the new Pope will pay it a visit?

Not "Chicago"-Chicago?! Damn! I have no doubt the BVM's version of "Class" would be definitive.

"Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they've been given than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact. It's an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration. It's a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing.” ~ Muhammad Ali

I don't have anything that looks like anyone. Maybe I should pour some coffee on my carpet and squint. I could use the money.

One of the newspapers today had a helpful guide-- things that look like God and where they ended up: BVM on a fish stick, Jesus on a tortilla and a grilled cheese, a Dorito that looked like the Pope's hat (I LOVED that one-- don't they all?), The cinnamon roll that looked like Mother Theresa....The list goes on. They all ended up auctioned on EBay and bought by some on line casino.

You'll be happy to know the "Satan Loves You" has been covered by a Picture of Pope JP the Great.

Hmm...Interesting casting. It sheds a whole new light on the whole Madonna/Whore plotline.

And goes beyond the pharase "stunt casting". hehe. I hate it when the Weissler's cast religious symbols to sell tickets.
