Yeah. I live in Chicago, and people went nuts with the salt stain/Virgin Mary/whatever AND the pope being chosen right around the same time. Nuts.

Personally, I believe in the cinnamon roll.

This looks like a salt stain. Or a pipe leaking.

This just in--

Pope John Paul II made his first post-death appearance, on a Chicken Breast served at a College Cafeteria at Eastern Illinois University. The student who was served the holy breast said he was honored and humbled to recieve this visit from JPII and promptly put the sacred object up for auction on Ebay, where it's sold for $232. (To, of course, that online casino where it will join the rest of the holy crap they've bought!!)

Experts are undure if this has any connection to the BVM appearing under the expressway in Chicago. Many pilgrims to the Chicago site are calling on Pope Benedict to make a trip to see the Blessed Virgin, saying her appearance MUST be linked to the new Pope. Updated On: 4/22/05 at 12:52 PM

I remember me and my folks drove to some small town in Texas because an image of Christ appearred on somebody's front screen door.

Hundreds came by to view it.

Were we that fanatic or just plan bored?
