Does Meredith find it easier to work through her transference issues by seeing a look-alike therapist? Do you think they do the Lucy and Harpo mirror-image bit when Meredith runs out of other actors to bitch about in a session?
Would Terri help Meredith get over her horrible apostrophe learning disability and might they do it on national TV?
Vote Terri and maybe we'll find out!
"Fear Busters" Ray Parker Jr. has a new song!
"Anticipatory Excitement" - sounds like foreplay me.
Ummm - if she gets a show, will Meredith have to get a new therapist.
And, for the record, I would run away as fast as I could based upon my initial reaction to her pitch.
Her eyes scare me!
The top contestant has over 3 million votes. As of now, Terri is just shy of 1,000 votes. Yeah, good luck with winning.
She reminds me of therapists who are more focused about their ego rather than the issues of those they are treating. Maybe some of what she says has some merit, but unless I was already willing to totally lose myself in my therapist, I would run away from that SNL character as fast I I can.

I would like everyone to vote for me to be Meredith Patterson's webpage proofreader -
On one page alone -
After graduation, Meredith immediatly working in regional theater and on the road.
At 22, Meredith starred as Young Phyliss in the critically acclaimed Papermill Playhouse production of Stephen Sondheim's FOLLIES (Cast Album) with one of her musical movie idol's Ann Miller.
2007 proved very busy for Meredith as she wrapped filming on the independant feature MY FATHER'S WILL (200
Then there's this word stew doozy.
Meredith lived the classic understudy's dream come true in 2001 when she took over the starring role of Peggy Sawyer in the Tony Award Winning Revival of 42nd ST, making her Broadway musical debut.Meredith's dream came true every performance, starring on Broadway in what's been deemed the best female tap dancing role in theater history from August 2001-August 2002. She also was the first only non-original principal to be recorded for prosperity with the prestigious Lincoln Center Archives.
Is her husband's name actually spelled Shonn or is it really Shaun or Sean?
Meredith certainly is talented - I saw her in 42nd Street and I was wowed by her.
HOWEVER - this is a huge boundary issue. This shrink is showing her colors by even having Meredith mention her.
I vote no to the shrink.

I may be incorrect, but wasn't Dreamgirls archived well after opening and after many of the original cast had left, thus invalidating her very awkwardly worded claim?

Yeah, I wasn't even sure what to make of that.
Hot. Mess.

If her therapist wins her own show on OWN I think she should have BWW on as a thank you!
Any therapist who is asking clients to hawk her for a TV show has some serious boundary issues. Even a therapist who is telling their clients, "hey, Im trying to get an Oprah show" is making it about them and that's just wrong.

Maybe Meredith was just trying to help out her therapist/life coach. I watched her video and it sounds like regurgitated New Agey nonsense in the style of The Secret. She'd be perfect for Oprah's network!
I watched the clip too and she seemed like a cult leader. Very little warmth or emotionality.I prefer my TV people to be warm and authentic. She was like a Stepford wife reading off cue cards.
"If you're afraid of heights...we'll have you jump out of a plane." Sounds like a great show Terri, maybe we can talk first????
I didn't vote for her but I did vote for someone else who had some warmth. Her rhetoric was very "broken record" cognitive behavioral-speak. I didn't care for it.

I don't understand why you hate Broadway so much.

Why does everything bad always happen to Meredith?
