beacon, I'm taking tomorrow off because I'm singing tomorrow night (Beethoven's Fidelio in Carnegie Hall). Then, Friday morning I'm flying to Florida... to just stop and drop!

It couldn't come at a better time! Other than some time between Christmas and New Year's I haven't taken longer than a long weekend for vacation since last February (2004). Which is just WRONG. All other travel was work related - or an extended weekend.

Mr. Rask, we will do our 'sugar and salt adventure' when we both return

Long overdue Addy. Recipe for a good vacation: slather yourself with some SPF30, bake at 80 degrees, baste with pink drinks, rotate frequently and continue to baste until golden brown and sauced to perfection.

I am so glad for you. I haven't had a true vacation in about 10 years. My holidays are with family in South Carolina...and that definitely doesn't count as relaxation and fun. And, I can feel how stressed I am because me "fun" is in spits and spurts.

This poor church mouse needs to discover a rich relative soon or marry someone very wealthy... :o) Anyone have a list of potential sugardaddies for me? A simple marriage of convenience with separate residences is fine with me, LOL!

Cookie, most of my fun these days (besides repeat viewing of POTO)is doing genealogy (it's not just for old folks, ya know!), game nights with friends--and, of course, being an internet stalker/data poster for the magnificent Mr. Wilson. Although I consider the last pasttime to be more a vocation...a divine calling...a cheap thrill. Poor man... :o)

I've considered widening my stalker base but that announcement has, for some reason, made various people quite nervous. I believe Mr. Rask has installed another deadbolt on his door!
